Hi all,
I'm interested in hearing the general consensus on this one, hence this post....
The number of times I have been in any one of the chatrooms, and find guys using the C-word when chatting to females or just having general chat.
I'm no prude by any means, however find the use of that word quite offensive and will never refer to a part of a woman's anatomy with that word, preferring to use 'pussy' instead.
Ladies - do you like men using that word about your anatomy?
Gents - do you think the same as me, or, if you do use the C-word, in what context do you use it?
Interested in hearing your thoughts on this.
Thanks in advance |

I use the c word a lot
It's really great in attracting their attention
I say I will gently lick your. C
Sometimes they go mad and scream and shout at me well most of thetime
Bloody women and their addiction to chocolate |

For us it's just another swear word. Why is it any more offensive than fuck, wank or cock, in fact what is the comparative slang for the male genitalia that people are so offended by that they feel the need to abbreviate it to it's initial. |

I'd much rather you called it my cunt than my pussy...It just feels a bit...juvenile..
Call me a cunt however, and I'll punch you in the face... |

It's a perfectly good English word; - old English, with Germanic origins;
Until the 18th century it was commonly used as a descriptive word; just like " Cock ". It wasn't crude or offensive .
I find the other words ( pussy etc) just so silly and twee). |

I agree - it's the blunt single syllable dour tone of the word that just sounds like a swear word, don't like tw$/T either. Pussy as a word is much more descriptive, soft, desirable. Just like a cat, a woman's pussy can purr in delight..... |

Depends if it's used as invective(abuse)or not. Saying that, even if it's not used that way in any sense, the word is so historically loaded socially and culturally(and basically overwhelmingly negatively at that)and so I can see why some women, and men, take offence.
I do personally, but like using it if a woman uses it also. Strange. It's a taboo word, and I don't think it necessarily should be. It's just linked to a form of abuse(ie you cunt), or kind of makes us infer that a man might be a bit of a cunt(sorry..)if he uses it casually, seeing as it's associated with female disempowerment by objectifying their vagina in such a purposefully negative way. In which case it's sickening.
Sorry. Bit of an essay. Just random thought association while I'm a few glasses in to the evening. |

One of the best words ever as long as it's in reference to my female anatomy and not myself as a person.
Give it a good mix with other filthy words and I'm on fire!

I'm not sure why a word has so much power over people. People seem to lose their shit over it... a word.
I don't think there's a point telling a woman you're going to lick her cunt if she's weird about the word. It just a turns her off when she hears it.

Last time I used the c-word on here I got a 48 hour ban. Mind you it was justified, so worth every minute of the time out
On the rare occasions I use it, it's as an insult. I prefer 'pussy' or 'foo-foo' for the lady bits! |

Generally I tend not to swear in everyday life so I do not swear on here. I swore a lot during 22 years in the army so now I find it a tad juvenile. Each to their own.

You say that but the more someone swears at me when they talk dirty the more I seem to get off....
Does that make me juvenile? Lol |

Not a term I've used in anatomical context .... However in various other contexts it's works rather well
Cunt - oh bother
Oi cunt - excuse me sir
Ah ya cunt - ouch
That cunt - him over there
You ya cunt - you , yes you
Cuntybaws - like fannybaws to describe an arsey person ... But more of an arsey person
Cuntation - a rather sever problem

Cunt. I like it. It's tangy and damp and dirty. Ive reclaimed it, and I love it. If someone calls someone else a cunt at work I ask them 'are they really an equivalent to female genitalia?' and normally the answer is no.
My ex hated that id call it that, but I dont care. It's a good word for an excellent bit of equipment. |

I like the word cunt for... well... my cunt.
If you don't want to use it, then don't. But it's just a word. And words only gain power if you give them power. |

"Cunt.... Mediaeval word meaning sheaf or scabbard for a sword or dagger.
So now you know. "
And still used as such in some places;
I knew an old farmer who would say " l'll put my knife in its cunt" and think nothing of it. |

In Scotland its not used in such a derogatory term, as in, he's a lovable cunt
It's also used to describe people from Edinburgh..we have glaswegians, aberdonians, dundonians and cunts from Edinburgh so it's not all bad |
