Right, so I really don't want to sound like I'm criticising anyone, but when a guy is a hairy man (I'm all for it tbh!) why do they shave a triangle in their pubes?
It's nice that they're conscientious (or hoping) that our mouths will go down there, and no one likeshair getting caught in their teeth... but it just looks so ridiculous!
Is it just me that has encountered this?!
If you're a hairy man please just trim unless you're going to shave your whole body!
Or leave your hair there for girls like me who like it!  |

I'm hairy and proud of my natural born manliness and never attempt to hide it. I do trim pubes though as majority of girls I've met seem to prefer it...
So refreshing to find kopite who loves a natural hairy fella! And I'm a LFC fan x |

I'm with Kopite. I like my men to be as nature intended. If they wish to trim a bit then that's fine, but a particularly hairy guy with an obvious cut-off line below which he's completely bald just looks ridiculous  in my opinion. |

Not too hairy myself but when I do shave it's from the nose down to my balls. Not armpits though made that mistake once, too itchy on re growth!
Saying that I'm going au naturel at the moment, just to keep the old boy warm in this chilly weather. Could use a tidy up though, buzzzz! |

I agree that it can look daft if he's hairy everywhere bar his bits.
I've done variations on shave (started in teens with a continous period of smoothy at university), natural for a while then the last 15 years trim or shave as mood took me. I got sick of shaving in July and went for laser. Had two of those since and now saving up for the third. It's seriously the way forward.
I'm not massively hairy elsewhere but the contrast of smooth pubis and hair elsewhere was a bit silly so I generally trim stomach and chest although I shave occasionally. Think I may try a wax just for the hell of it.
Pits are shaven, my job means I am in front of people on a daily basis and I've found that less hair there means less sweat patches which I think are gross. I used to trim them but it's easy to run razor over in shower. Never had itch or razor burn there. I'm going to get IPL for pits soon, there are usually good offers on the various voucher sites and most places will do blokes pits but not pubes.
In the shower at the gym I find about 50% of blokes, across the age range, do some form of upkeep on their pubes. Shaven is not that common but trimmed is. I wear a singlet in my exercise classes so everyone sees my shaven pits. Never had any comment though. |

99% of time I am shaved - including chest - two reasons really, one is I have never been on having hair and two I'm even more against having a hairy cock n balls and arse  |

The difference in sensation from shaved as opposed to hairy is drastic, for me. I have been shaving / waxing for as long as I can remember, though at some point I'll probably grow some hair back at some point. The feel of skin on skin, especially around your cock is just too much of a turn on for me to start growing it back right now. Add gels or lubes, nails, strokes, licks - whatever; you simply aren't allowed the same sensation with hair. |

I don't really mind what a mans pubic hair is like as long as it isn't like a jungle down there!
If I'm honest I'm usually too in the moment when giving oral to really think about how their pubic hair looks unless I'm actually having to pull pubes out of my mouth.  |

It's bad enough gradually losing the hair on top, without losing a lump in the middle too. It'd look like I'd been shaved for an operation or something.
I actually shaved my balls once, when I was about 18 or 19. I learned two valuable lessons that night. 1: don't use scissors ANYWHERE NEAR your genitals when you're d*unk. And 2: a stubbly scrotum is like a loose stretchy bag full of needles jabbing your thighs... |

I am always amazed by threads like this (hair/no hair, big tits/little tits, bi/not bi, bareback/condoms etc etc) that suggest "I like it like this so you should change to suit me". There's enough variety on fab for everyone. Personally I prefer guys who shave their pubes, but I wouldn't expect someone with a hairy cock to shave for me - I would just move on to someone who was shaved, unless, of course, I found the guy had other features that I found particularly attractive. Just enjoy the differences! |

If you read my initial post again I didn't actually say that anyone needed to be a certain way, and I'm sure I've posted that I don't mind either state of pubic hairyness. I was just saying that I found a man being really hairy with a smooth triangle bit around their dick funny and wondered if anyone else had made the same observation/why they do it! |
