Do many people use KIK to chat for more conveniate direct messages? I feel some people get offended when you ask?

I used to when I first joined the site.

Then it became evident that only weirdos, time wasters and cheats used it (in my case) so I deleted it after about 6 months.

Good way to progress things, much quicker to reply to messages than signing into fab each time.

More secure than giving out telephone number until social arranged.

You can do all this with Snapchat but for added security, the pics and chat history get automatically deleted, though you can opt to save if you like.

No spam either!

I concur, I use it to chat to people I've met on here. Some people's inboxes get very full on here and messages get buried. I don't really like reposting messages that they might have missed so kik is what I use.

Prefer to use Kik as it can be hidden on my phone but I can still get notifications. I can sometimes go a few days without realising there's a message waiting for me on the site, whereas with Kik I'm not leaving someone hanging on.

I don't use it, I use fab to arrange my meets, when I'm logged off I'm back to my real life, I don't really want guys messaging me while I'm at work, shopping, doing things with my kids etc

If they have you on kik etc they can just message you when they like and become a pest so I'd rather just talk to people on here

This is exactly what I've found. Deleted Kik twice and not getting it again. Even got an email alert today saying that a previous pest is still trying to Kik me!

Yeah I like to chat on Kik, it's easier to see the record of your conversation on there. Also on my couples profile we like to move it to Kik so that we can all chat together.

Why all the fuss about it?

It's just another more convenient platform to communicate quickly.

WhatsApp, Viber,Kik.....all have their uses in today's world.

One I've established a "rapport"with people on here it's no big deal or drama to suggest using them.

Occasionally but I find most who want to talk on Kik only want to talk or swap pics. I have only met one person I have given my Kik to,all the rest have been deleted quite soon after the initial message. I use Whatsapp for the people who actually want to meet.

Same experience I've had. No more Kik for me, to the extent I lose interest in someone if they ask for my Kik.
