Sex drive getting higher as you get older

Hello fab people..
I've noticed in the last couple of years my sex drive has not dropped off if anything it's getting higher.I hit 40 last year and it don't seem to be slowing down..I still want it as much as I did as when I was in my twenties..
Did anyone else find this as they got older ?? |

Got a ridiculously high sex drive - but not sure whether or not it's higher than it was when I was young. I had 2 ten year relationships where the sex wasn't great in between y'see!
All I know is that I adore great sex with men I like and find attractive! Xx |

My (fem) sex drive has definitely increasesd as I've got older, hubby has always been like an insatiable teenager and once a day is not enough for him! I say if you don't use it you lose it, the more we have the more we want. I think it helps that we still fancy the pants off eachother after 23 years together. |

Yes, want it all the time, think about it everyday. Can't get enough! Now I'm older and mature know what I want and enjoy every moment! X

Male half here, sex drive has definitely got higher since hitting 40. With a penchant for experimenting more. Have to say that when its been indulged there have never been any regrets.
Hormones? That feeling that time is passing by?
Hmmm maybe, some part of me wants to enjoy life more and indulge the sexual appetite to the fullest. Rather lie on that deathbed regretting what I/we did rather than regretting what we/I didn't do with my wife. |

Yes it is strange. My sex drive has remained the same since 1974......very high. But I'll tell you what has changed, my tastes and fantasies within sex. Some things I think about are sooo taboo. Also I've become very much more open minded and broad minded, very accepting of all sexual scenarios.
I'm enjoying it!   |

Female half here and all i can say is the older i get the more i want and the more i want to experiment!! Being single has helped and finding my amazing fb here really brought me out of myself and i just cant get enough now! So sex as you get older is def better for me |

In my 60s and sex drive is higher than it was when I was married (now widower). Been single for 8 yrs and the freedom to experiment may have something to do with it. |

We're in our 60s and certainly haven't noticed any loss in sex drive. We've both been very highly sexed all our lives, both of us needing quantity and variety. Since divorcing our exes and taking up swinging we've had plenty of opportunity to fulfil our needs. |

I'm sure you'd soon get back into the swing of things (no pun intended) but I definitely believe that the more I have the more I want. And I also agree with some of the other comments, we have definitely become more kinky/adventurous as we've got older so maybe that has something to do with the increased sex drive too. |

I'm 64 and my sex drive has definitely increased over the years, so much so that I think about it all the time. Part of this, I believe, is due to the fact that I know there won't be all that many years left to have the type of sex I enjoy. So I am trying to use it before I lose it. Anyone want to help out?  |

Entered my 30's and it's literally off the chart... Like, I'm constantly turned on.
