To be fair you can make friendships by joining any old club or group of people.
You can even make friendships on a 'sex site' without approaching for sex.
Swinging is mainly about sex, thats the activity that any friendships would be built around in a swinging setting. |

Yes, we all like sex, but (in my opinion) there is a big difference between "just sex" and "sex with swingers".
We could probably all get laid after a night out in a bar or conventional nightclub. But that type of casual sex (whilst enjoyable) usually results in mismatched expectations (i.e. to one, it was JUST casual sex, while the other is thinking that it might be the start of a relationship).
To me, having sex with people who have embraced the swinging lifesyle is far better. We all know that the sex is for recreational purposes only, there is honesty and trust, and the elimination of jealousy. Maybe we develop ongoing friendships, but we are delighted when our friends enjoy sex with other people.
That's why, although I'm a single (swingler!), I prefer to meet people from 'the lifestyle', rather than a d*unken bonk after a Friday night out.
As to whether Fab is about swinging or about sex, I guess it started as a swinging site (since the owners are swingers). However, since the site free, it is now also used by people who don't share the swingers values of trust / honesty / respect, but who are just looking for free sex contacts.
I guess it's up to each of us to screen for the type of person we prefer to have contact with. |

To us its one and the same swinging is all about sex thats the primary subject with swinging. If we go on to become friends with meets all the better but making friends is not essential, we have a social side to our lives for that (or facebook lol). Swinging though means different things to to different people. |

People like to defend /excuse/explain there sexual behaviuor by saying it belongs to some kind of alternative lifestyle.i see it in BDSM and swinging.
Me,i'm a slut,i do what i do,i hate all labels,this is a site where ppl look for sexual partners,so it is a sex site.Why some are ashamed of that is the interesting question. |
