Is it just me or do most of them sound like a repetitive smutty version of a badly written Argos review full of cut & paste clichés ?!
Truth be known if somebody compared me to a Dyson not only would I be insulted I'd probably hit them over the head with a Dyson !

I've often wondered about verifications; many of them are reviews but if we stuck with the tittle wed simply verify the person couple.
I say simple but now that I think about it what are would we be verifying? That they are real, that they are sexy? That they are friendly? All of the above?
Possible standard text for a verification:
Met Goldennipples (I hope this isn't a real profile name), she is a real person, very sexy, fun and friendly.

I'll tell you what we think - If you don't like reading veri's then ignore them .
When you have as many as we do , it's inevitable that some of the phrases you dislike so much will come up . But since it's about the fun we have and not a literary competition we don't mind at all .
In our opinion , it's far better to have a gushing veri full of the usual phrases , than terms like ' I'm after quality not quantity ' on a profile .
But that's us , and plenty do have that on their profile despite our protestations . And that's the way it will always be , so we suck it up . Just as you will with regard to the verifications .
There are far worse things to be pissed off about aren't there ?

As for having better things to be pissed off about !
The word "genuine" over used without good backing or thought- warranted to be pissed off over & Worthy of a rant when it's a missguided verification used after one quick meet!
You see I read these verifications of "genuine honest whatshisname" yet I'm privy to the knowledge that said person verified as genuine & honest ( after one meet)has form & uses these sites as a prowling site as a form of income!
Same ' genuine honest person' ripps off old couples of their life savings , preys on single women's bank accounts with stories of dying children , terminal illness , sick sister & are so good at what they do that they could of bought a few houses several times over & are known to be violent .
But hey you guys carry on gushing !! Don't let it get in the way of your chu chu train!

This didn't happen to me just to clarify.i'm just very aware that there are a lot of these oxygen thiefs prowling these sites. My point is that you cannot verify somebody as 'genuine' after a quick shag - so very misleading!
Yes the police are aware & have a long list of reports of such fowl play but nothing is done to protect future victims by them or sites like these dispite having axcess to this knowledge!
So how useful are verifications (joking aside about the usual cliches) ??
I think checking out how you can keep safer , looking into how you can do this following 'Clare's law ' is much better than just 'sucking it up'!

Don't forget I meet mostly single guys - and a lot of them tend to put the same thing but re-worded on almost every veri!
However - I make no secret of the fact that I LOVE the forums, love fab, love single guys - and I've had the best sex by far on here! But - like everyone else here - I know whether it was a mind-blowing shag or not (and whether we got on well) without having to read about it afterwards!

Of course. All of us involved in this sort of fun are aware that there is a risk involved with who we meet.
But what else do you expect people to do when leaving a veri, other than describing people as they find? The veri system is there to verify that someone is a real person who meets. Expecting anything else of it will only leave you disappointed. |
