more "realistic" pics.

I love taking "sexy" pics and love the reactions I get from people, however, I'm well aware that my pics are taken from flattering angles and I just have a very normal body with lots of lumps and bumps and wobbly bits! I always mention this before I meet people because I don't want them to have an unrealistic expectation of what I look like. Anyway, today I decided to take a pic which is more "honest" I guess (however I'm now too nervous to post it! lol) So what would people prefer to see on here? The lovely sexy poses or the more realistic stretch marks and mummy tummies? Xx

If it helps: all of our pics are ruthlessly filtered for saggy bits, wobbly bits, and wrinkly bits. The only time something sneaks through is when the dread of a re-shoot exceeds the dread of people going

You could always keep it private and send it as a final "are you sure you want to meet me, 'cos I really look like this:"

But in truth, I doubt you have anything to worry about

Personally I'm not going to upload a photo on here that I don't think shows me in best light albeit with the use of angles / filters. I don't photoshop any part of my body out though.

I do have in private a no make up selfie & various body pics which I can send if need be.

It's a nightmare for us men too it seams all women want in a man is a smooth toned oily body with at least 10inches LOL

So women have got nothing to be scared about posting photos of their mummy tummies or stretch marks.

I don't know how to photoshop or air brush and wouldn't want to! My pics are of what I look like - not what I'd LIKE to look like! I am - however - the all England breathing in champion!

Boo - you have a gorgeous figure - and it took me a looooong time and a lot of zooming to find the remotest trace of this 'mummy tummy' you speak of!

I take and post the most flattering pictures I can. I'm not ashamed of my body and I don't deceive anyone, but I'm also not going to upload a photo where I don't think I look my best, it's just not in my nature.

If someone's profile is all "honest" photos -i.e. warts and all with no attempt to look good or impress - it would probably make me think they didn't give a shit and would turn up with a cheesy cock in grey joggers or something.

I expect people to use a degree of self-flattery. No one has ever disappointed me in real life and to my knowledge I haven't either.

I try and make myself as presentable as possible in real life, so my photos reflect that.

Also (stealing this point from Ligeia) I'm cheeky, inventive and slightly odd, so my photos reflect that too.

I'm not trying to attract someone who is only interested in the way I look, so why should my photos reflect only one single aspect on me; ie my looks?

My arty, well thought out (mostly) and styled photos are a very accurate representation of me to the type of person who I want to attract.

Personally, I like to show realistic pictures of what I look like. There was one time I was tempted to smooth out my skin on photoshop because I didn't like how much of my bones were visible (December 8 picture), but then I decided that it would be better for people to see me as I would be when we meet. So I left the picture, bones and all.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. In fact, your latest photo is one of my favorites of yours.

Really not a "look at me" post but am not going to try and convince anyone. If anything I think this thread shows that all of us have our own insecurities no matter what shape or size we are (and for the record I'm now 3 and a half stone lighter than I've been my whole life so I've known how its feels to be much bigger too) and its nice to share that and realise its not just you. I've had some amazing compliments on this thread and I really appreciate that but its not the reason I posted

I crop and filter and delete. I still can't say I really like them but they are the best of a bad bunch. And they are me.

I don't think I'm deceiving anyone if they met me because I haven't sent a full length nude photo. Id never have the courage to inflict that on anyone

However OP I'd give anything for a body like yours.

That's kind of the beauty of fab. There's always someone who will look at you through kinder eyes than your own x

I'm fairly honest and yea people men inparticular think I have confidence issues and need reassurance...... I'm totally comfortable in my own skin X

I find we are our own worst critics. I agree I post my best pics. I got a bit self conscious recently and thought I didn't want to misrepresent myself, so I posted updated my pics and did a delete. No matter what I have ever posted our profile gets plenty of action.

Firstly - huge sympathies that you've never had a mum! I can't imagine what that's like - but I truly hope you've found loving, caring female role models throughout your life! If you haven't I feel very sad for you - huge hugs!

Secondly - I think every level headed woman on fab knows that we ALL get sunshine and glitter blown up our arses by guys who want to get our knickers off - and not everyone lets it go to their heads!

Thirdly - yes - there ARE women on fab/the forums who seem to live and breath to get compliments/adulation - which I actually find very sad - as their lives must be lacking something! These women are pretty easy to spot though- and as Boo isn't frequently on the forums and doesn't start many threads of the 'please fab me/do my tits/arse/insert body part look good?' I'd suggest that would mean that she's NOT an attention craver - just a normal woman who wants re-assuring that she's doing ok! Don't we all need that? I bloody do and I'm one of the most secure, confident people I know - but that confidence is in my personality - NOT my looks!

Anyway lovely - we all need to gripe at someone some time - so feel free to gripe at me if you need to! Boo's nicer and more sensitive than me I suspect - so let's be kind!
