I know that there are "real" people out there as I've had the pleasure of their company but it really is all about the percentages.
I was messaged by a couple 2 days ago, and although their profile didn't ask for single guys (it did not explicitly say they didn't want them), their profile, verifications and messages suggested they were genuine.
We exchanged half a dozen emails, including face pictures (no it wasn't at that point that they ignored me ), and arranged a meet for this evening. They asked for my number, which I was more than happy to give to them, and they said they would call yesterday.
The call never materialised and being a pragmatist, I figured there were many reasons why they couldn't ring.
The annoying part comes when you see that they have been back online, viewed your profile again but can't take 30 seconds to send a message or text to say they changed their mind/couldn't make it.
I appreciate that writing this will do nothing but allow me to vent my frustration, but hell's teeth it's annoying when people can't extend a little bit of courtesy to people with whom they instigated the contact.
Anyway onwards and upwards |

Shit happens.
A couple of years back I had a couple arrange a meet with me and on the day in question put up a meet request on here for that evening, (i.e. when we were supposed to be meeting).
When I messaged them they couldn't (wouldn't) even explain themselves. The woman told me her husband had decided he didn't feel like a meet and she didn't know why he put the meet request up.
Just come clean for goodness sake!
They clearly either changed their minds or were looking for something better whilst holding me in reserve.
It happens. Stressing about it, as you say, changes nothing. |

Yep no what you mean. A couple on here asked for suggestions for new pictures. I suggested a topic , no request for a meet. Had a look to see if there was a reply (no) and I've been blocked!
Also enquired about a sex party to have it deleted without a reply. Not as if either were a quick shag request!

Many people on here are just here to chat and titilate themselves. I have lost count of the cpls and singles-male and female-who all of a sudden go quiet when I confirm a time and a place, or just don't turn up xx |

Fuck me, do you know how many times I do similar when buying a car?!
You're a product, little more, tins of beans on the shelf don't take it personally when you pick them up, read the label, yet choose another brand. |

A bloke did that to me. I agreed to meet him for a coffee, he was unverified and he put a meet request up so I binned him. He's still unverified. |

The site is kind of entertainment anyways...
You.... And I just facilitate that entertainment thorough active participation.
They are right to titilate and have their fantasies, it's a pass time, it's entertaining.
And as you say, frustrating yes, disappointing yes... Do we really care?
I'm an entertainer;-} |

All too common I know. Just frustrating when they appear to be genuine. I fully understand not to take seriously the profiles of people who've been on for ages but have no, verifications or pictures and despite being a couple it's only the male who can play!!!
Anyway, I'm big enough and ugly enough to move on.
Carpe diem. |
