Is sex for money acceptable, or is it always wrong?
Are bar girls, prostitutes, escorts, sex club workers essentially all the same? Or is paying for the company of one more or less acceptable than another? |

"It's acceptable between consenting adults.
But what about trafficking, people being forced into it etc. Should they be considered to be consenting? "
If people are forced to do something they aren't consenting. |

I think that's pretty hard to ever truly know, and that's one of the reasons I can't really imagine myself ever paying for sex, in whatever form that entails. |

I would say very difficult in some cases but I would also say that a man who doesn't question why a woman has her two front teeth missing to facilitate oral sex doesn't care. |

Anyway to answer your question in my opinion it isn't always wrong. If you believe as I do that sex is separate from love and all the other conditions that society has placed upon it paying for sex is no different to paying for a meal in a restaurant. I wouldn't want a meal cooked by a slave though. |

Some prostitutes will be trafficked. Some will be forced into it through partners. Some will be forced into it through poverty. Some will be savvy business women. Some will be swingers as well.
They are likely to bea cross section of society like on here. Just because in the swingers world there isn't usually money exchanged, doesn't mean one of the partners isn't coerced. And before we all say our filters are too good, who knows who ever telling the truth?
Is it always wrong? That's very black and white. I'd like to think I wouldn't have to pay but who knows? |

There are many reasons people pay for sex, fantasy, getting just what they want without having to seek it out. Maybe someone is shy and not able to approach someone in normal social situations.
It's a service your paying for and as long as the person doing the providing is in a position to be making a choice in what they do

Just because it's sex i don't think it's any different from any other job.
I mean how many people go to work in a normal job every morning because they're forced into it?
If someone else is taking their wages then that's not fair (pimp) but i'd say the same about working for any employer who profits off your time and efforts. |

Depends on how you look at it I suppose. I'm forced to do a job that I don't always like.
...Forced... because I can't pay the bills otherwise.
Some people get into escorting because they love sex. There's no real way of knowing why they do it. |

I think it's weird that a lot of things are illegal but also not legal despite being the same thing. I suppose the (supposed) intimacy aspect of sex has something to do with it.
But i've said this before - i cannot think of anything worse than having to go work every day in a job that i would not like and for someone else to profit from me because of that. Can't think of anything more demeaning, yet society acts like some jobs are ok to do and are more respectable than others. It's also why we don't even get paid the same amount an hour despite giving up the exact amount of our life and time to benefit someone other than ourselves. Sad really, definitely not fair and probably the main reason that phrase 'life isn't fair' was invented. |

"So most seem to think it's fine, although some wouldn't do it themselves?"
I would do it if i had a safe environment to do it in. And have done it before. |

I think it's like any other service such as getting a massage or having your hair done. So long as it's consenting and the price is up front there's nothing wrong in paying for it. We know a few couples who have paid for skilled and experienced men and women to come and fulfil a desire in the bedroom.
We also know some people who sell their services. One does it freelance to pay the bills but also really enjoys it and has said she would do it for free if she didn't need the money.
I think, like anything, you can find a legitimate source if you're willing to do some research |

Some fems are not pushed into that sort of thing
its a misconception, ie there being trafficked, forced against there will. Ie drug takers
some fems maybe, some fems make a success out of it...Make money..buy cars...holidays. ..dont forget the paid cammers, sex chat workers...too
I saw a programe on this type of work. ..an some fems make a success out of it...so dont always think that escorts do against there will. Etc im not talking about the street prostitute s im talking high end escorts. .. |

What's your thoughts on someone going out on a Friday night on the pull...they cop off with someone and accept a load of free drinks. Then give them a nice time afterwards...happens in every town, every week. A free night out. |

See I find this interesting, why is paying for sex with an escort less morally dubious than paying a street prostitute? What about a prostitute in a brothel?
You also mention high end escorts, what is the price tipping point where it changes from not ok to ok? Is a £60 escort not ok, but a £600 escort fine?
This is not meant to be an attack on the poster I quoted, anyone feel free to answer the questions I raised. |

I see that as totally different, but do others? |

A person selling or buying sex is just that however much money changes hands. I bought an "artisan" loaf recently for about three quid, it was still bread and the bloke who sold it to me was still a baker same as when I buy Kingsmill.
I wouldn't buy it if it was made buy slaves though. |

It's different if the woman is being exploited by others; or is desperate because she is an addict, Etc. Then that has moral issues .
Those who are independent , and choose to make money out of their " natural resources " and/ or do it because they just enjoy sex, and feel they might as well make money at it too; then there is nothing morally wrong with it.

Its to do with the law really. and the associations of prostitution. Being a street prostitute means you are soliciting in public which can become a nuisance. And the guys that will cruise an area will also become a nuisance. The problem with brothels is often a case of someone is living of the proceeds of "immoral earnings" and is a real grey area. The real problem with brothels are that people can be forced to work in them, be illegal, etc. And it is hard to get the person whom maybe forcing the girls to work and making money from them. So consequently they outlaw them.

Both of us have paid in the past. Beth with 2 guys (seperately) and me with a woman and then a couple. We did enjoy it as it was a bit risqué, but have found being with swingers much more fun. The key is consent & if you doubt it, walk away. We only went with independents and they were lovely. |

Sabrina has been offered escort work , and webcam work on many occasions since we started swinging .
The money offered is extremely lucrative .
But since we are fortunate enough to be more than comfortable , all offers have been politely turned down .
If we needed the money however , it may well have been a different story .
Morally we see nothing wrong with selling sexual favours as long as it's all consensual .

There's a programme on 4od called "high class call girls" - probably the most flagrant abuse of the trade descriptions act you have ever seen! |
