I do it because I'm single, and therefore not answerable to any partner. This means I don't get regular sex from a girlfriend, and I am not cheating on someone in my life by seeking sex with other people.
Also, I don't really fancy the idea of the typical pick-up game out in the nightlife scene. I rather be a swinger here and seek out mutual sexual fun with people who already are upfront about what they want, instead of just blindly fishing around in a club or bar for some girl who might be just on an innocent night out.

I swing because I do not have the time, nor the inclination for dating or trawling pubs/clubs for potential one night stands, and it's more fashionable to attend a swingers party than a Tupperware one  |

I think it's more than that. What you described about quantity of people involved can just as easily be achieved with trawling the nightlife scene for one-night stands of all sorts. The key thing that makes swinging different is that people are meeting together explicitly for sex, either as their only objective or as their major objective. So there's no beating around the bush, or "courtship ritual" before sex comes up on the menu.

Very people actually "swing" on here...its become more of a dating site, albeit one where the cards are on the table but it's not really swinging...
MOST of the couples on here seek just a female mainly so the mans ego isn't shattered...so again that narrows it down to a few hardened swingers..
