Chatting, added as a friend, then blocked?

Jump to: Newest in thread

Hi I am just wondering does this happen to many other people?

I've chatted, been added as a friend, kept chatting politely and then suddenly get blocked.

Sorry part of this is just a vent, but it makes little sense.

They obviously decided after chatting that you weren't for them and block you, par for the course and lots of people do that. Plus they were more interested in perving your pictures so may not necessarily have been a woman/couple

Several threads on this already;

Happens a lot;

Chat a bit; become " freinds" which just means you can see more of each other's pictures etc, and that you can more easily look someone up.

Then if it doesn't gel, or they use interest, then they block ( it's easier than saying " actually I have decided it's not for me".

At first sight it seems odd, but many women do it, because if they just say to someone " I've changed my mind" they often get a load of abuse.

" Freinds" is not really freinds; it's more a list of people who are " possibilities".

Yes we have noticed that happen too.

It did leave us feeling a little "used and abused" but we sort of accepted it as one of the hiccoughs of the world that is populated by people who don't have the moral character to say "Sorry, but this isn't going anywhere, we will not be moving forward".

Just move on. xx

Sadly, normal for this site for many on here, pity they cannot find a busy motorway to play their games on.

The only time we have ever blocked anyone is when a single man pretends to be a couple.

Moral character, play on a busy motorway !

Harsh reactions some would say over reactions to being blocked by a stranger on a web site.

Op it happens I'm afraid and is frustrating, although it isn't ideal and shouldn't be necessary the least stressful solution is to try and let it not bother you.

Maybe didn't like the look of your private pics and thought blocking was easier than telling you that

Tbh I do block because in the past I've had abuse or repeated messages asking why constantly harassing me it is a chickens way out but prevents the above
