they are about £20 from PC world. Get a USB MSN compatible one (assuming you are on Windows) and look out for the HD ones.
Of course your machine and internet connection need to be up to it! |

A webcam isn't essential, although personally I won't meet someone unless I've chatted to them on cam first. This is to avoid wasting time on someone who has posted fake photos on their profile (or photos that are 10 years out of date).
And a basic web-cam can be bought for under a tenner at most large supermarkets. |

They are so cheap, to not have one might make the paranoid think you are hiding something.
Just be honest on cam, i.e. if they catch you in your housework clothes, say so.
The key to the cheap cameras is lots of natural light. Alas with the weather at the moment getting a good cam picture is hard. The £30 to £40 models usually do a better job. |
