The other day, (and not a large city centre a night there were lots of people within a mile, 3 within 1/4 of a mile. Do you ever think it would be interesting who would be within 10" / 20"? I am not suggesting approaching people who are near physically but by PM, why not? |

Tried the whos near thing in the gym this evening. Wasn't much use, I don't take my glasses to the gym, so I couldn't see what was on tbe flipping screen. Ooops |

When I'm at home, there are 3 separate accounts within touching distance, a couple and 2 single males. It's been consistent for a long time, I'd love to know who they/you are!.....  |

I had a couple of occasions in the summer at the nudey beach where people has looked at who's near and sauntered over to say hello. Not having face pics is no guarantee of anonymity at a nudist beach apparently  |

Was in a hotel once when the who's near showed a single girl within 1/4 mile. Made contact...she was having a bloke over in the hotel later so went out for a smoke and she waved at my window (guy was already onroute) and then she went off to meet him. Not my style to try meet like that though...but was exciting. |

Spotted you guys (on the fab-dar) as being close (I was in Bristol Temple Meads) - thought about pm'ing but guessed if you were looking for single guys at that time you'd have said so in your status (when my location is switched on and I'm looking to meet, I normally put something in my status as well).
Still, it was very exciting for me to think that you guys could even be very close to me. |

We were in Budapest last week and I was messing about with my new phone and found this option.
There was a really cute couple apparently nearby and they kept looking at our profile.
Had I discovered this option at the beginning of the holiday rather than the end then maybe we could have sorted something.
On the flip side we also got a heap of messages from 2 single guys in Budapest who also realised we were nearby. They just would not accept a polite no thanks. Eventually their perseverance won them each a fuck off message and a block. |

I love this feature as there are some hot couple close to me x
I always use it when I'm staying in hotels x
I once struck lucky for a meet this way when a speculative message was responded to by a hot girl staying in same hotel x |

I was stuck in traffic the other day near the Bath dogging spot. So had a look at who was near,sure enough,someone within a mile and then half a mile, as I approached 1/4. Unfortunately for me it was a single male. |

think it must be updated as it works for me, someone i messaged within 1/4 mile was round the corner to the hospital i was working in :D |

Errr you realise it can be as accurate as any other gps system.
Inagine how useless satnav would be with 1/4 mile accuracy.
Fortunatly the site caps it at a limit that makes it fairly safe |

the camp I am in often gets visiting troops and I get quarter of a mile come up on my range though no women yet but one funny experance I met a fellow squaddie at a York social who I didn't know was on fab ! |
