Christmas shout out to the single mummas!

I've just personally risked life and limb climbing into the loft several times after a lot of gin to get ninety twoty gazillion presents down and put them under the tree Santa-stylee.
Biggups to all the other single mums doing the same, just wanted to take this moment to say you're awesome. Hope you all enjoy Christmas xx |

I have just filled my living room with pressies ninja style trying to avoid the creaky floorboards outside her bedroom door (we live in a flat) thinking of all manner of reasons why I'm carrying all these bags, just in case I'm caught redhanded!! Phew wasn't the only expression used when mission was accomplished.

My teens surprised us this evening, with their presents for us .... they are earning and so got us personal and thoughtful pressies. It was quite a moment ... as it was just me and them until Mr came along last year. Then off to midnight mass with them. All the hard work pays off in the end (as we all know, teenage is not the end, but just the beginning) |

Aww that's lovely...I don't have any presents to open  I think it's the first year that's ever happened. Will have a super excited 5 year old though which will make up for it. |

Mine are 14 & 9, the youngest told me on Sunday he no longer believes but had put a lot of effort into helping me lay the table & filled the stockings last night. It was sad & lovely at the same time. Both are still sleeping!!!
And, let's not forget all the awesome single dads too - being a single parent isn't easy whether mum or dad xxx |

i had all the presents in my room so no loft for me just loads of trips up and down stairs.I would like to do a shout out to the single dads as well that have their kids living with them.

I had to put mine in the loft, my 11 year old has been doing regular prowls around the house looking for presents |
