Thinking of starting regular parties

Hi all

We're thinking of renting a flat down in Bournemouth for our own fun and games but wondered if there was a demand to host parties to help pay some way towards the rent.

So basically, would there be a demand? What's the minimum number of rooms and what is the guest to room ratio?

Any advice gratefully received and who knows, we might see you at one of our party nights!

We've held two parties in a hired apartment and split the cost between the attendees.

We use a 3 bed apartment, plenty of room for fun. People socialise in the lounge and kitchen, one room has a camera in it for those that enjoy that.

We've had about 18 people attending, so 20 including us and that seemed a good size.

Hope that helps

Thanks for the advice. We're looking at a two bedroom flat with a decent sized living room.

We have grown up children at home as well as two dogs so we can't play there, so we want somewhere we can use for meets as well as parties. We can't afford to pay for a 2nd property without some kind of way of making some of the money back.
