My dad bought a turkey for a pet and by Christmas he couldn't kill it .He kept it at the allotment .Everyone took the piss out that he couldn't kill it .We did give it a name and was quite funny .

Ended up living for years .

Bloody noisy things! We had 3 one year.....we killed them all at the same time so they couldn't get upset and miss each other

That shut them up......

They tasted good too

Don't think I believed my dad when he said he took it to farm .He probably did but not to run wild .Probably ate it
