How do you find people you like?

Just wondered what people use the most on here when looking for interesting playmates? The chat looks very busy but it demands a lot of your day to keep up I think? I quite like reading the forums and might follow through to people from there but what do you lot think? |

I agree to an extent - however, if you go on regularly at the same time of day oyu will start to see the same faces. You only really need 20-30 mins a day to start getting recognized. |

I mostly use it to chat to folk I already know.
However, it does get your name out there and my get you word of mouth recommendations. |

Im left handed, type both but mouse is right so im feked for whacking and typing. But hey at least my mouse dosnt get sticky.
Anyway i think what you do with someone you like is send them a message. An interesting one, an individual one and non of the "do you fancy a shag" type. Effort brings rewards. |

Yeah I'm with you on that, I actually prefer that approach too, I just wonder if that's the best method in terms of getting something back, or if people in general prefer to meet & chat in the chatrooms, then message afterwards. I dunno, I think I'll stick with what I like. |

I only mail people i like the look of and the drift of there profile. I will give my all and try and say something about me, but i am genuinely interested in them. If i get a reply im pleased to do so. But if its no reply, well that there choice so i don't pester. I do understand some get lots of mail and can't answer all. But above all be polite with people. |

We use the forums.. but not solely to meet peeps, though if that happened great.
We use the ads.. we get mailed and mail folk that interest.. Chat, exchange numbers.. meet up.

Can only say we have never ever used the chat rooms - but doesn't seem to cause a problem with getting meets
Posting on the forum seems to get you noticed (though sometimes for all the wrong reasons lol)
Other than that direct messaging is pretty good, and the 'looking to meet today' function has never failed us yet

the good thing about chat rooms even if you go on at a regular time after work each day or just now and then if you dont work is that ppl are very friendly and they organise damn good big social meets, where everyone gets to meet everyone and then you see who you like etc., and can organise fun meets good luck huns |

Kitten is spot on with this one. We chat a lot in the Wales chat room, and tend to find that you can out the ppl you might not want to meet from watching what they say, and to whom, over a period of a few days. You get noticed too, so long as you join in, the best introduction being "Hi all, new to all this, how does it work?" or words to that effect. Lots of ppl are friendly and helpful, you start to make friends, then you get told about social meets. Once you turn up at one, ppl are a lot more relaxed about you, as they know you are defo who and what you say you are. it then snowballs from there, you get invites to meet, your verifs list grows, and soon you are an experienced swinger!! |

I'm afraid I have to say that I find the chatroom(Scotland) totally manic! The speed it moves at I really find it difficult to understand how anybody can have a conversation! Turn your head away for a second and the screen has moved on completely.
Regarding meeting, I haven't had much success so far, though the success I have had via browsing, quite frankly makes up for anything else I might have hoped to find, so I shouldn't complain too much!! |

I have met some lovely people just by taking the time to read their profile PROPERLY and matching what they are looking for with what I am. I take the time to send, what I think, is a polite, lighthearted message and explain that if I don't get a reply then I understand and hope they find what they are looking for.
As for chat rooms, don't use this 'whacking off' one but one on a different site which is very friendly and a good laugh. I have also met people off there so I think it works both ways. |
