Do females, couples and males look at the amount of verifications that someone has and does it sway the decision they have if they where going to meet , as in someone has to many and politely refuse to meet ?

We inhabit a special sort of limbo...we have had three meets via the site, all with non-verified members...so we all continue to travel through our Fab life unverified, as unverifieds cannot verify unverifieds! Our only hope is that one day a verified will take pity on us, meet...and then verify us!

How many they have is irrelevant, but like them to have them to prove they're not a fake.

My argument, for those that say how can they get verified if you won't meet them is.. There are plenty of organised socials, so pop along to one; go to a club; or get in chat be polite and converse and someone may leave a veri.

Their verifications only let you know (vaugely) how many people they've met on fab and has zero relation to how many people they've met or who they've slept with so no.

I wouldn't be interested in or influenced by in a written list of anyone's sexual history anywhere else in life, so why on here?

Yes! I've seen a few of them. I've had some leave me more than one veri, no more than 3, but they are spread out over time, not in a month. I also normally just display 1 or 2 from the same person, depending on how they differ.

We wouldn't tend to meet anyone who has lots of play meets every week. But the amount of verifications isn't always an indication of this as they can have lots from social meets.

We have taken the decision to hide ours as we like the privacy. It doesn't seem to put people off, or hasn't done so far.

We may show our summary or a couple of our verifications if it starts putting people off. But so far it works for us.

I see what you mean, and yeah you can trace back what is traceable, but folk don't always verify, folk meet via other routes etc.

I could go and hide certain veri's and make my history look whiter than white when it isn't

My verifications are so far removed from my actual sex life as I meet lots through my g.f's profile too that yeah, they don't give a true or full imppression whatsoever...I imagine I'm not the only one...

I guess some checks are better than none though

We take into account how recent they are, for example if its a couple and they have 20 verifications, but the last one was 3 years ago, then we do start to wonder if they are still together.

But no the amount of veris dont bother us, I think thats a form of slut shaming

I thought the only stipulation, was that you both had to exchange messages (as with a similar site) before the veri's can show.

My first meet here was with another unverified - no problems leaving one, in either direction, though.

Couldn't care less. If they don't want to meet me - they don't want to meet me. I don't worry about possible reasons. I can't unmeet the people I've met. No point in having a verification system if one hides them or the summary. Although it's an added layer of privacy. So maybe I do see the point after all. See? Easily changeable mindable.

If a guy has quite a few recent verified meets or/and has a stack of verifications then yes it does influence whether we want to meet them.

Our reasoning is this: If a guy has quite a few recent verification's there is more chance of contracting something nasty (regardless of whether he plays safe) than someone that has only got a few over a long period of time.

Yes we know that it is a flawed system (and a guy could hide his verifications, could of set up a new profile or have shagged loads of people outside of fab) but this is the only way we can assess the risk to our sexual health.

Also, if they have met couples that specify bareback or have met couples with bareback pictures on their profile we will decline a meet with them.

Yes our system is flawed but the STI risk percentage increases when you do something sexual with people that put it about a lot.

At the end of the day I suppose it depends on how much you value you sexual health compared to the fun you're getting out of it.
