My buddy and I have been arguing for 1 hour about this subject.
Please give me one GOOD reason to take money out of the cash machine after 1 am.
My point is if you need cash after 1 am , it's for nefarious reasons  |

there are lots of reasons, you do know stores are open 24 hours ? and yes you could use a credit or debit card to pay but you maybe need cash for the day ahead. |

To lend a friend in need (maybe theyve been out and lost their wallet)
Not everyone pays by card, my mum takes cash out for everything so if she had been out to a party and wanted food on the way home she would take cash out to pay for if rather than use the card |

I think I should rephrase the question.
Give me a reason/situation/circumstance/service a person takes cash out of the cash machine. That can't be paid for with a debit/credit card . |

I always like to have at least £10 on me everyday you never know when you will need it. Also some people like to take all their money out before direct debits come out ect x |

While I was waiting for a taxi last night at 2am watched a pissed Irish bloke trying to get a prostitute past the hotel bouncers by shouting at them that she was his sister (his Polish sister who was 30 years younger than him and looked nothing like him). I think he'd just been to a cash machine, you may be onto something OP  |

If we are out and my daughter needs money in the morning for something at school but I am up and out of the house before she is so I can't go and get it in the morning. Therefore I would get it at night, even at one am, to save me rushing in the morning. Not unusual for me. |
