Apparently, the worst thing in the world is single males (according to those with the strongest opinions).
Now, we don't want to meet single males, so we block them. Seems fair.
But why do so many couples who don't want to meet single males NOT block them, and then complain about ALL single males when they are inundated with stupid messages?
Apparently the second worst thing in the world (according to the same people) is couples, where only the male is present. OK, granted, this is often because the female is either not interested or doesn't exist at all.
Any couple in the chatroom where only HE is present is assumed to be *cheating* in some way. This is not the case if only the female is present, because women are without fault in every way.
A couple where only the female is present seems to be favoured to a couple where both are present in fact, and almost as popular as single males.
So the question is, do a lot of couples believe that all males should be removed from the swinging lifestyle? (because many here seem to dislike them, whether they are part of a couple or not).
I write this as the male half of a couple (very real, check profile if you think i'm fibbing), who used to be a single male, and is only not NOT a single male because I got lucky. |

I dont know why they dont block, and on ours its mostly myself on the couples profile as Master only occassionally physically joins in the fun..
If you removed men from swinging wouldnt that kinda beat the point of swinging???

first of all, well done you on being lucky and meeting a female and having a couple profile..
some of us don't want one, happy single.
have seen many single guys go up the ladders on the swinging board.. and some come a sliding down the snake back to singledom.
They usually have a changed _iew then

Having swung as a single before, and taken all the knocks that it involves, i'm certainly not having a go at the single males, rather those that keep treating single males like shit and saying they have no place here. |

I certainly don't feel threatened as I beleive we have a strong relatiionship. At the moment, Linds doesn't want to play with another guy (although she will if he is part of a couple). If she ever does want to though, I don't think would feel at all threatened. |

Ah, you must be one of those couples who doesn't actually read what people write, but just make your own interpretation.
I have no problem at all with single males. We're just not looking to meet any at this time. |

The OP did bring up an interesting point though.
When we've "researched" potential new friends & noticed so many couples specifying "No single males under any circumstances" we've wondered why they just don't block them. Problem solved.
This isn't an attack on single guys, if our tastes changed in the future & we hoped a single guy would join us then we would welcome the right person.
It just seems odd...

as a single male myself i know there is a huge ammount of us on here however thats not a bad thing as it gives the couples and single ladies plenty of variety to choose from ,if i contact somebody and i get a reply saying im not there type i dont get arsey about it i say thanks for the reply and i move on,however i have been told by female friends that some guys wont take no for an answer and send constant messages asking why this and why that,now its these kind of guys that spoil things and give single guys a bad reputation!
my advice to all the single guys is NO means NO and its not our place to ask why,show some respect guys.
and to all the couples and single ladies all i ask is you dont tar all us single guys with the same brush,we are not all self obsessed maniacs x |

In the 3 years we have been on Fab we have only ever met 1 couple. We meet a fair few single guys and except for a few they have all been great.
We would like to be able to block messages from couples now because the ones who message us, and we get 5 or 6 per week, tend to be the opposite of what we ask for in our profile, or if they do match (more or less) then once we reply to them we never hear another thing from them . . . . ????

i think filthyanet is the perfect example why men should not be banned-he was single-now hes not and fair play to him and his partner.choice is something for any individual to decide for themselves.i am a single male and its true it is difficult for some singlemen including me to get a meet but i will keep trying
