Trim them right down first before shaving. Same applies to anything really.

Plenty of shaving gel or conditioner - careful around the knees and ankles - do it when the skin is warm (ai after a few minutes in the shower or bath) - exfoliate before you start - use a fresh razor and shave against the hair growth for a closer shave! Good luck x

"get her to shave you either that or i will personally I get waxed all over

If getting waxed ensure that the waxing teck / therapist is trained in male waxing many courses only teach female waxing and its different no matter what they say.

If the place looks unclean and the wax pot is dirty then walk out!

They should undertake a thorough consultation including past medical history, medication (including over the counter meds and creams with the like of AHAs in them) Also allergies, skin type and in the case of an intimate wax urinary tract conditions and STDs.

They should cleanse the skin and then apply a lite layer of OIL. If they apply talc, unless you are REALLY sweaty then leave, this went out years ago but some courses are still teaching it, but talc is silica and carcinogenic, especially for women (endometrial cancer)

For large areas they can use a strip wax ie apply a thin layer of wax push a piece of paper into it and then pull the paper off. For more delicate areas or to be kinder use non strip wax. ie. the wax is put on and pulled off without a paper strip; this wax is a different type and it grips and shrink wraps the hair far better leading to easier removal especially for shorter or tougher hair and is especially suitable for men. If the hair is too long then it should be trimmed before waxing regardless of the system used.

After waxing avoid anything that will get you hot and sticky for at least 24 hours including going to the gym, sex etc (yea right!) Avoid hot / chlorinated water, hot baths, showers, hot tubs swimming pools etc and any form of sun bathing be it on the beach or on the electric beach.

Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize after every bath / shower etc. Exfoliate 2 - 3 times a week (not more or you'll make it worst) use an antiseptic (tea tree or similar) if possible.

This is just a brief overview. I have waxed many people, I have never had people biting the couch or punching the walls in fact when done correctly waxing does not hurt more than a lite plaster being pulled off. I have frequently waxed my own abs and chest without any problems. Many peoples opinion of waxing is coloured by films such as the 40 year old virgin etc or the fact that people who get waxed want to maintain the mystique of it being so painful only they can handle it. Waxing DOES NOT HURT IF ITS DONE RITE. I have people that come in and fall asleep whilst being waxed they regard it as "ME" time and enjoy it. Waxing is easy and in the case of gents it includes, ears, nostrils, nape of neck, back, chest, abs, armpits, hands, arms, legs, and he whole range of intimate waxing.

Don't knock it until you try it but make sure that the person that you try it with knows what they are doing!

Have tried it have followed all instructions wit no strips on more tender areas etc but still spotty rashy..... Have tried a less attentive approach still same rashy..... Quite like the pain so that's not an issue just don't want two weeks of rashes after..... Use magic powder genitally with half decent effect

Legs normally not to bad.

You could by some Veet. The sensitive skin one can be used on your genitals if you are careful.

an antiseptic shower gel (e.g. tea tree) can help and some of the professional waxing companies on line retail spot prevention products as well. However some areas of the body and some people are more prone to breakouts than others. Men are more prone than women as well

St Columb Major, Cornwall

Trim the hair down with a beard trimmer or clipper...theN jump in the shower and soap them up with 'Dove' soap...use a sharp razor and clean blades regularly
