Does anyone know if hotel chains like Travelodge, Premier Inn etc allow you to book rooms just for the daytime.

Business reasons of course lol

Seems to be on a case by case basis, Travelodge and Holiday Inns have for us in the past. What we do these days is book it the night before we want it and tell them will check in the morning and we want the room til 3pm (usually costs a tenner extra for late checkout) but works well for us

Just a point on the chain hotels, most of them book mainly via call centres who will never offer you a dayrate - however the staff at the hotel are the ones who can facilitate this - just sometimes means you physically need to go in and ask the question , a bit embarrassing but it does work sometimes
