Hello my lovelies!
I was chatting to a guy earlier as a result of a forum thread. We were chatting about relationships because that was the topic of the thread - and we ended up swapping face pics.
We'd never suggested meeting up but the guy told me that I wasn't his type after swapping pics! (No white knights needed - I'm a big girl and I wasn't upset by it!)
I must admit though I was mildly surprised! Although I've been turned down for not having huge bazookas, not being bbw or not being young enough - I've never been turned down for my face - which though far from gorgeous is what I'd describe as 'universally acceptable!'
This led me to wonder what we all consider to be facially attractive?
For me I guess it's big twinkly eyes, a nice smile and a firm jaw. If there's a beard it should be short and well trimmed! I also don't like faces/heads that are really small as mine's quite large - so I'd feel ungainly!
So over to you lot - what do you consider to be facially attractive. - and do you ever get turned down because facially you're not someone's type??

Yes I/we have, not the best feeling sure but you get over it like you said
For me I'm not entirely sure! I like such a mix of guys, I think dark heavy lidded eyes, some facial hair is preferable, I like a lazy sort of smile too, although this description just makes someone sound a bit odd haha |

Someone who looks healthy, down to earth but not rugged, natural looking. I like chavvy faces, but not skinny ones.
I'm sure i do get turned down because of my face, but seeing as i'm fortunate enough to not have to care about it being on my profile i never get told about it. |

Lively eyes every time...but I do like a sharply defined jawline.
I was messaged once by a nice couple whose profile stated no facial hair....I fessed up straight away but it was a hard limit for them...not shaving my moustache off for anyone.. |

I like a guy with a strong jaw. I don't really like round faces on guys. Big brown eyes are my absolute favorite, along with scruffy but not too long brown hair. Some stubble is ok, but beards and mustaches are a no.
Marc has most of these, though his eyes are bluer than mine and I have to find ways of convincing him not to buzz cut his hair
Yes, we have been turned down after sending face pics, once. It has probably happened more times but people weren't as direct

Most people aren't that direct to say that they aren't attracted to someone when they see their face which is probably why many of us have never been told that someone isn't attracted to our looks. If i get called cute i can tell that it's normally from someone who's seen my face and didn't find me that attractive. There isn't a specific thing i find attractive...a friendly looking face with a natural Smile and sparkly kind eyes works for me. |

I'm most attracted to nice eyes, a cheeky smile and lovely teeth...especially if on a 'pretty' guy.
I've actually never been turned down after showing a face pic, but then I only show to men I'm really attracted to and keen to meet, so not that many have seen |

I don't have a 'type' facially. Symmetry is always a bonus, and white straight teeth, but apart from that I'm not overly fussy.
I've not been turned down yet because of my face but I'm sure it'll happen at some point. We can't tick everyone's boxes afterall. |

I'll answer seriously. Soulful eyes generally blue, brown or green that draw me in and I get lost in them. Framed subtly with hair that really suits them. Lips that require no lipstick to allure me into wishing to kiss them passionately. A nose that suits the face generally cute rather than strong. And finally and very importantly ears that don't stick out of her hair if her hair covers them

It's hard to say what it is in a face that I find attractive. There could be two women who look very different facially but I could be attracted to both equally. It's hard to explain in words.
The eyes are the most important thing. They have to draw me in. The shape of the face probably has something to do with it as well. I just know when I see it I guess. But I don't have a particular "look" that I go for. |

Precisely! - which is why I asked what others consider facially attractive - as I'm sure there are many different opinions as to what constitutes an attractive face! |

I'm not sure if It's one thing for me, Sometimes it's the eyes in others it's her cheek bones/full lips or smile,
And to answer your question,
Yes, I don't really make a good first impression, I usually have to chip away at them until they give in |

I don't take a good picture at all and I've been turned down loads as a result of swapping pics. I also have been told by 4 people on separate occasions this week that I'm much better looking in person, so I dont sweat it. Those that will meet me will get a nice surprise

Not too much make up. I want to feel like I'm going to wake up next to a woman who looks the same as I went to bed with.
Natural looks will always be more attractive than a face caked in products.
Naughty eyes are always a bit of a turn on as well. But that's just having nature on your side if you do have them! |

I'm finding facial attraction is important on here. My friends on here and in real life tell me I not unactractive however as soon as I send a face pic I get blocked or messages deleted.
OP it's his loss. There's plenty of lovely guys on here.

I don't like big noses, pointy features, very prominent teeth, little teeth on big gums and bad skin.
I do like round faces, smiley faces, little button noses, cheeky smiles.

As far as I know we've been turned down twice by guys after they've seen my face, (Alabama) the first time I was a bit upset but then remembered all the people I had turned down, it wasn't personal at all and everyone has their preferences.
I'm usually attracted to a cheeky smile and bald guys are my favourite although I've been attracted to plenty with hair too lol!
Btw OP you know I think you're beautiful

Someone's face is most important to me when it comes to deciding if I find them attractive for the purposes of FAB. For it to progress further than a social there would have to be a connection there though on a physical and mental level. I typically like tall, dark and handsome with a great smile and lovely eyes If people don't like my body, I can accept that but would find it much more difficult to be rejected because of my face even though I turn down plenty of good looking people because they're 'not my type'? |

Thanks but no he didn't! This thread wasn't intended to insult him in any way - if anything I respect the fact that he clearly has high standards and is sticking with them! Just found it odd because we were just chatting - hadn't discussed meeting anyway!
Him saying I wasn't his type just made me wonder what other people find facially attractive! |

I have certainly been turned down because facially I am not what someone is looking for - I don't think its about how universally attractive we may be, its more about individual attraction - some just don't go for my 'type' (luckily plenty do).

Eyes and smile .. Two things that will never change ..
I don't go for bald men but have found myself attractive to a few ..

"Hello my lovelies!
- and do you ever get turned down because facially you're not someone's type??
we are all different what one finds attractive another doesn't but the weird thing us some take better pics than others "
I hate having my pic taken full stop... |

I have certainly been turned down because facially I am not what someone is looking for - I don't think its about how universally attractive we may be, its more about individual attraction - some just don't go for my 'type' (luckily plenty do).
You Peach are not only very sexy, but also very attractive so I wouldn't go worrying about it...after all I shagged you

Hmm tough question. I like many different types of faces. Round cute cheeky face, slim face with nice cheek bones, slim nose or wider. List goes on...
But without sounding too cliché, I always found my self more attached to a women's face and body when her personality/attitude is More to me liking.

Good for you, a very mature attitude....and I have to say, I am finding your wet fur rather attractive haha!
A agree with whoever said they don't like round faces, which is a problem for me as many men in their 50's tend to go that way......I don't have a type, but I guess I like strong masculine features mostly.
A sexy smirk most often renders me weak at the knees, I am a 'mouth watcher' when chatting to someone |

Great to see so many different views and tastes on this. My beard tends to put a lot of people off but I won't be trimming it for anyone. But thankfully there are some out there that absoletly love it and I even get people come up to me when im out who ask to stroke it.
I like a pretty smile and sparkly eyes. I usually go for the cetlic pale looking girls or alternative looking girls, goth/emo/rock chick look. If they have red, blue, green or black hair too, even better. |

Found this so interesting - great topic. I often feel like i've got a bit "too much face". Everything is just a bit bigger than i think it should be. That said, guys who have seen it have been ever so polite and at least messed me around a bit before disappearing of the face of the earth
I love seeing facepics. I'm not ashamed that i'm pretty ruthless. I would never meet someone from Fab that i wouldn't consider in "real" life and i am quite fussy. Would love to describe what i like, but along with indecent dress for the workplace, i know it when i see it! |

Aww, thank you sweetie!!
I don't know why - I think I just find lips even more expressive than eyes, some men have the most amazing curl of one side of their mouth when they are becoming turned on and amused and suppressing a smile and it drives me wild!!

I'm fascinated by wonky teeth and crooked noses. I quite like a big nose too. I don't find wide faces attractive or small eyes. I'm a bit of a starer when I'm on the train,I have to focus on the adverts to distract myself. |

I sometimes turn people down after they send pics not for their facial attraction or not but I read energy from faces. I guess I have to as I have an issue with facial recognition!

Thanks - but we hadn't even discussed meeting so neither of us 'lost' anything lovely! He just remarked that I wasn't his type facially - which is fine and I don't mind at all - but it just got me wondering what we all like facially!
This was never intended to be a 'oh my god how could he not want me?' thread! Xx |

I find all different things attractive, what I like on one I might not on another.
I have my face on show so I'm assuming if they don't like it they just pass me by.
Can't imagine anyone appealing to everyone |

Whilst no ripped George clooney (i.e. if I uploaded my pic, it would probably crash the fab servers), I still couldn't meet with those who truly ming.
We all do this for our own reasons...& for us attraction plays a significant part (which rules out us ever returning to clubs where it transpired that we thought we'd stumbled in on a weight-watchers meeting) |

"The white knightrery certainly has been strong of late.
It's not the guys fault..they are only taking the bait..."
I don't know about that, the OP did seem to be worded to discourage it, and I suppose I am reading it bearing in mind a conversation I had with the OP regarding white knightery - which I suppose is context that you might not get from reading the thread at face value.
Its patronising in the extreme to assume that women need the level of vomit inducing sycophancy displayed by a lot of men in the forums, and I'm sure that it does more to repulse than attract. |

"Hello my lovelies!
I have certainly been turned down because facially I am not what someone is looking for - I don't think its about how universally attractive we may be, its more about individual attraction - some just don't go for my 'type' (luckily plenty do).
You Peach are not only very sexy, but also very attractive so I wouldn't go worrying about it...after all I shagged you
You wanna shout that louder??
I think there's someone on the Ireland forums who doesn't know you fucked me!!!
I'd better go over there and let them know too then -
Can't help that I am proud as peach...I mean punch
Aww that's sweet - thank you! And very flattering considering some of the beautiful ladies you've met!!
Beautiful ladies of which you are most definitely one!! Don't concern yourself with this one that got away - you are pretty as a peach x
In your opinion. Nothing against the OP, but not every man on here will find her attractive which she is aware of. It doesn't make them wrong."

"Can you imagine if single guys did this after everytime they were told "not my type"...the forum would be full! bless."
Which is why my post was about what people find facially attractive (clearly there are common themes (big sparkly eyes, nice smile etc) and many that differ! That was the point of the thread lovely - NOT ''oh my god someone turned me down how could they?'
Frankly I'm bloody amazed that so many people ARE interested - but I think that has a lot to do with the fact that a have a vagina, an arse and boobies, all in roughly the right place!! |
