I used to find getting out on the motorcycle was quite relaxing, for me it was getting the corner right and the acceleration, the hard braking soon relaxed me.
Same with cycling, taking your anger or stress out on the bike, soon relaxed me. |

Deadlines and writing.
Used to cope with stress and other problems with cutting/self harm.
Now I've changed ged my whole life I have a stress free job, that I don't have to think about except when I'm there, and work 4 days a week unless I want some extra overtime.
I don't really cope with stress or drama well.
One of the best things I find for reducing stress is just a nice day our in a city with a friend walk about stop and eat wherever takes our fancy nose around any shops maybe stop at the cinema.
Just done basically this for a week with a great friend on my first holiday abroad. Slept so well all week. Seems when I'm relaxed I sleep for like 10+ hours a day though lol.

Life stresses me out. Worrying about my children, looking after my grandchildren (as much as I love them, they are stressful to look after), travelling on buses with my grandson is killing me at the moment, going out in crowds, driving and anything else involving other people. Except being on here and meeting people,I can cope with that. I deal with it by taking medication; without it I wouldn't survive and the panic and anxiety would ruin my life. Once the medication kicks in I cuddle a dog and feel calm. |

fab's not stressful, i have a lot of fun on here. Which is why i'm still awake at this time of the night.
love is stressful for me. making yourself vulnerable enough for someone to hurt you, and if other people hurt your loved ones that's stressful.
nothing else bothers me really, extreme poverty would but i'm not living that yet. i'm happy with my life, fucking up here and there, fixing things, just trying my best. nobody else can affect me, only those i care about. |

My job stresses me out. But I love it and the rewards outweigh the stress levels.
I cope by having a good support network at home and a gym where there are no questions asked if I want to step into the ring and punch someone with no technique or finess. |

Its the job for me, and also worrying about my teenagers and, at times, money. Lots of pressure in the job, but like the poster above, the joy of it far outweigh them ... but its relentless. When my stress is at the max... I sleep. My body goes into shut down. Had two very early nights this week ... |

Yes, I suffer from stress and anxiety, not as bad as I used to but still get bouts from time to time. I've various coping methods but none more effective than simple exercise. |
