Personally no!
I can appreciate that larger people can still be very pretty/beautiful - but sexually a lot of excess flesh on a man or woman does nothing at all for me!
Boobs and bum are one thing - a large waist/hips/thighs etc are another entirely and definitely not for me I'm afraid! Same goes for guys - I prefer them ripped or at least trim and fit! X |

I never say never as personality and confidence etc can be very attractive in people, but predominantly I suppose I've been with more slim body types, but it's only very extremes of either weight that would be an instant turn off, e.g. clearly very unhealthy or morbidly obese / anorexic |

I think confidence is a important thing regardless of size. I am a bbw and was just curious of people's feelings about this subject. For me I am genuinely attracted to the confidence of someone and how comfortable they are in their skin. |

It's not to stir up anything I was curious about people's opinions on size. And how many people are honest about it. Having met people and have being open about how big I am before we have met I have been disappointed with people's reactions to me when I haven't hidden the fact I am fat. And no no one should give up and go home. There is always someone out there that is attracted to whatever shape or size you may be. |

Personally, I'm not confident in my own skin. Regardless of what size I am. And I've been 9 stone and 17 stone. I loathe it.
Confidence in my body is something I'd pay a great deal to have.

I'm a big girl (long time Slimming World attempter). It doesn't really harm ny chances. I find people attractive for the whole package (even personality, I'm old fashioned me) not just their measurements. If I like a guy it doesn't matter if he is 11 stone or 22 stone.
It does however make me sad when I see people on here who do bash larger people. Just because you find it unappealing doesn't mean we should all starve ourselves and die celibate and alone.

I have never had any problems with men and I would consider myself on the larger side of the scale.
But in saying that on the outside world I would get to know a person regardless of size..

I'm a similar size to you OP I have had body confidence issues in the past but now have learnt to accept who I am and enjoy my abundance of curves. Yes I would love to be a bit smaller but due to a condition I suffer from I would need to medicate daily and be on a huge calorie deficit, I did get to a 16/18 but I was miserable, so viva the BBW
As for types we both like big bums and boobs that can be on a smaller or bigger figure but faces are what were mostly interested in when it comes to attraction |

It's not to stir up anything I was curious about people's opinions on size. And how many people are honest about it. Having met people and have being open about how big I am before we have met I have been disappointed with people's reactions to me when I haven't hidden the fact I am fat. And no no one should give up and go home. There is always someone out there that is attracted to whatever shape or size you may be.
This is a big problem in the online swinging world. That people won't discuss. People not being honest about their size and date of their pictures before a meet. Thank you for bringing this up. I wish more people were like you

I totally agree. How hard is it to say " I put on a few pounds since my pics , or I'm really 58 not 48 " before you meet someone.

Well I can honestly say I have never been short of dates and men wanting relationships with me and I've always been big so it surprises me when people say they can't get men to date them and men only want them for sex.
I really do believe it's down to own self worth and confidence, maybe when you were bigger you didn't give off the confidence that you do now your slimmer? Forgive me for surmising I could be totally wrong as I don't know you but many of us give off signals that we are not aware of X

Things like this really upset me!
I'm a bigger girl, always have been at my largest I was close to 24 stone size 26/28 at one point.
The good old divorce diet worked I dropped 5 stone and was very happy and confident.
Recently (summer) however a couple of people made comments. It's taken every bit of self confidence or self esteem out of me be gone from
Being the life and soul to someone scared and timid when I go out incase others comment.
It's also caused me to have HUGE food issues to the point I'm purging on a regular basis.
It's shameful and something I can't seem to stop! Yes I have got help but it's going to take time.
My weight now 14 stone size 16/18 yet I feel bigger than I did years ago when I was 23 stone.
Everyone has flaws why can't we just take people for the way they are rather than putting a label on them?.
The term bbw to me means your fat yet quite pretty and hugely insulting.

Honestly, I was more confident as a larger lady... even at my biggest as a size 26 I had more confidence then with my body - as i was big, but didn't feel I needed to worry about small boobs, imperfect tummy etc as people saw what they were getting. |

Usually size 20 and up the average UK size is a 14-16 so how the hell is size 20 super size?!

I think he meant American sizing, which would be UK 24. As you say though, with height it's all relative. I wouldn't have even classed myself as BBW when I was a 20. |

dos it really matter tbh? i think its more to do if your happy amd confident in your own skin ive gone from being very slim in my 30s to large but im still happy being me |

I am a BIG woman ... Size 28 and I don't say I'm curvy because in my eyes I'm not... I'm fat!
I am upfront with people I meet .. They see my pics yet, when I turn up they quickly run out or they think I will instantly have sex with them because I'm desperate !

Don't have a post-mortem about it just to stir up animosity.
It's not to stir up anything I was curious about people's opinions on size. And how many people are honest about it. Having met people and have being open about how big I am before we have met I have been disappointed with people's reactions to me when I haven't hidden the fact I am fat. And no no one should give up and go home. There is always someone out there that is attracted to whatever shape or size you may be.
This is a big problem in the online swinging world. That people won't discuss. People not being honest about their size and date of their pictures before a meet. Thank you for bringing this up. I wish more people were like you

Op I'm delighted that you're honest about your shape and size - and that you're generally confident about it! If you're happy with your weight and feel healthy then there are many, many men who will find that confidence attractive! You also have a pretty face btw!
I agree with your comments about people deceiving others about their size, age of pics etc and that's one thing that bugs me hugely! No- one expects perfection (hope not anyway coz I'm far from perfect!) - But if we all looked just like our pictures then fab would be a very happy place methinks!
