We think you shouldn't be allowed to have a profile on here unless you have at least 3 pics and a profile picture . Out of the 12 people who have emailed this morning 8 are silhouettes. It's just a waste of everyone's time.

As a couple with a rather excessive 150 photos we are always disappointed when we come across a profile with either no pictures or friends only pictures.
Having said that everyone uses their profile in the way that works best for them, so ultimately I would leave how people run their profile it to the individuals themselves. |

Disagree. Just use it as a filter if they don't meet your criteria.
I don't like the idea of 'forcing' anyone to do anything with their profile. It's everyone's own shop window and up to them how to dress it. |

I'll decide thanks. If I was forced to have my photos public I'd delete them all. My brother is kicking around in here too. I don't think there's any need for either of us to see too much of the other.
Why people don't just concentrate on the positives and those who do appeal rather than constant moaning about who doesn't appeal is beyond me. It's always the negatives. It would be great if we could inject some positivity round here. |

I have only friends only pictures, 99%of the time i email first I out in a body picture and I always say I can put face pictures in the next emails. I'm 100% genuine but I like to keep my anonimity(sp?). Each to their own. |

Generally I take the view that people should do what they like with their profiles, but in this case I'm with the OP. I think setting a minimum number of pics (3 sounds reasonable) and an avatar would help drive up the quality of profiles overall. Perhaps this could be implemented in a way that anyone who doesn't have the minimum can't send messages or appear in search results. Op, you should put your idea on the Feedback forum. |

Disagree and think you'd lose quite a few people it became the rule.
I have all my pictures set to friends only as it allows me the autonomy to just contact snd speak to the people I want to speak to. The only reason I have an avatar picture is so people can recognise my messages in their inbox easier or that would go too. |

Just to be clear at no point did I say that pictures on profiles should all be public. If people want to keep for friends only that's fine as far as we are concerned. It's profiles with no pics uploaded at all and no avatar that I think should be made to hit a minimum criteria to use the site . |

That makes sense, sorry must of misunderstood I thought you meant 3 public pictures.
Apologies

I think it's nice if people have got pics, even if they are just friends only.
Same goes for avatar pics. I don't like to see a black silhouette. It doesn't take much effort to put up a pic for your avatar. Even if it's just a daft mustachioed face wearing a fez drawn on your left tit or something like that, it's better than nothing |

Completely agree. It's fine if people want to remain private but being photo verified to prove you are who you describe in your profile should be mandatory for registration.
It takes 2 minutes to do and there's no excuse not to be. I just delete messages from silhouette profiles - they are more likely fake than not and everyone knows that. |

I agree the silhouette profiles are really frustrating. However, if it was made the rule that there had to be three pictures or whatever, I think that this would just lead to most of the usual silhouette people putting up fake pictures on profiles to get around it...which would be equally as frustrating, if not more.
So whilst it's annoying I think all that can be done is to set your filters and focus on the positives of the site |

I think I've only one private n one friend pic ( face) but I hate receiving messages from blank profiles so to me its a mark of respect and a little insight..
I do make my pics public every so often n my face has often graced hot pics (Ireland)
People suggest I should hide face pics but I'm not ashamed of been on this site

I think a pic should be mandatory as they sign up, so the profile wont come live till they upload one, it is not hard to do and there is no excuse why they shouldn't have a pic, it is 2015 not 1800.
If they need to be discreet then they can use a pic of their hand or something lol. |
