Just been trying to update our couples profile and noticed the "will meet smokers" tick box was ticked. Now, we don't smoke but we wouldn't not meet someone if they did. However, does having this box ticked make it look like we do smoke therefore putting potential meets off who are vehemently against smoking?

No....there is a separate bit that tells us whether you smoke or not. That tick box just indicates whether you will meet those who do.
I think so, anyway.

We've met a few peeps who do smoke but don't have it on their profile. They have been very apologetic about their addiction. I think it's a shame how society can look on them as "unclean". But equally i know some people smoke like a chimney and stink because if it!   |

Might do one day but to me if you haven't had a drink yourself there is nothing worse than the smell of drink on someone else, presume that is the same for non smokers or even worse for ex smokers |

It's a modern day problem for sure.
I don't smoke but will meet smokers as long as they don't feel the urge to smoke when they're with me.
There's no tick box for that option! |

I guess the same could be true for alcohol. One wouldn't want to turn up for a hotel meet to find your "date" has d*unk half a bottle vodka. |
