Nooooooo! I only use whatsapp on those who I know. I don't like giving my number out to anyone outside my trust circle.
Kik works well for me and it doesnt take long to fibd the fakers.
I'm no statistition but there is anextremely high percentage of guys on kik, not so women who have kik accounts. They are more selective in who they chat with |

Kik had its uses, it's not only fake people who use it. I prefer whatsapp to keep in touch but understand people don't like giving out their numbers, that's what Kik is for. |

I use kik because I dnt give out my number I have enough issues with people kik-ing me 24/7 without them whatsapping me saying "r u ignoring me I see ur online" I have a life outside fab and should be able to choose when and whom I talk to people so at least with kik people can see when I've read their messages and reply when I can.....

A play phone works perfect, turn it on/off as and when you want to use it, and block the "u ignoring me" gang, if they can't understand people have real life they not worth chatting to imo |

We use Kik. We're not fakes. We just don't like giving out our number which Whatsapp requires. If you think all Kik users are fake then you're probably missing out but each to their own. |

I also use kik because I don't want to give out my mobile number.
Being anonymous is what I want to start with. With a mobile number they can find me on FB, Twitter etc. too much! |

Kik is a great way to chat and get to know someone without giving out your number to a randomer ... If they turn out to be genuine then i swap numbers. Bit of a safety barrier from loons and creeps. Keep safe |

I use kik.. I prefer not give out my personal number, someone I know did and now she has a stalker, it's been 4 months now.. I'm not "fake" and anyone who does give out their number (mostly men in first or second message) are quite frankly asking for trouble. |

I use kik, love it. It's a quick & easy way to share pics & vids & don't have to give out your number. I'm genuine & have had fun on there with a few people from fab. Always ready for it! |

We both us kik any day over what's app. I would rater give a user nam to people I don't know rather than my mobile number. We met a couple and we exchanged mobiles number then the male of the couple started messaging me at all times of the day asking to meet knowing full well we do not meet men and I have no interest in meeting men either. |

We both us kik any day over what's app. I would rater give a user nam to people I don't know rather than my mobile number. I totally agree  it's much safer than giving your mobile out and having phone calls all hours in the morning! You can get chatting etc then if you think all is good exchange numbers. |

You do have to install it on your phone from an app store which links the app to you via your app store account. Whether that can be used to trace back to you, I don't know. |

Agree. Kik is great for being anonymous and if things move on, then i use whatsapp or just text. Don't give number to strangers. |
