You should want to do it first. never do it feeling badgered, you won't be relaxed enough to make it easier and enjoy it.
I'd recommend playing by yourself first. Slowly and gently with a small toy. oh and did anyone mention lube?? lol

Lots of lube and get your partner to start by gently inserting their slimmest finger first slowly. Remove finger then insert the next slimmest. Work up until the anus is suitably relaxed.

Lots of lube and gentle fingerings first. For the actual penetration I found it best for my man to kneel down and I knelt in front of him with my back to him and eased myself onto him.
