I hate being the wrong side of 40!
The amount of profiles that have max age of 40. Don't think I look that old, just a few years ago I got asked for id when getting some ciggies! Would like to say, but get the, you cannot message as you are outside the members age requirements. Doh! And then, find someone looking upto 42. Now that is just taking the proverbial!
Life just ain't fair! Lol |

The first lesson I learnt in here, was age is irrelevant. If the person in question is young at heart, has a positive outlook and takes pride in their appearance.  |

This is why we go to clubs. Played with several from fab who had age prefs we were outside of but were happy to play when we met in the club environment, even knowing our ages... |

I recently lowered my age range after seeing a really nice guy at a club and finding he was way under my lower age limit and maybe I was missing out by having such rigid age limits  |

If I know someone is the same age as my mum or dad, I won't go there. Yes it's a mental thing, but I can't get past it.
I have my age set at 41 max (I think), but if I meet someone older and find them attractive then it's different. Same as those under 40, if I don't find them attractive I won't. But there's many under that look older and vice versa |

No it isn't just a number in my opinion, the difference between me and a twenty five year old is huge in looks, body, attitude, life experience etc. I think we should celebrate the fact that every age has its compensations and disadvantages and stop trying to pretend that age is irrelevant. |

There are some young 'uns though that celebrate older geezers. I had a 20 year old who wanted to meet me because apparently 'us guys do it better'! Certainly put a huge grin on my face but I didn't meet up with them as I don't think I'd be comfortable being with someone that young. |

The thing that amazes me the most is why people worry about what everyone else is looking for, so you might be over the age limit of some but there are still plenty of others to look at and meet, I say let them make up their own minds I who suits them and you do the same |
