I often wonder what are all possible scams or tricks that other swingers pull up on this site!
Men pretending to be women, members that look different in person, time-wasters, professional pimps and hookers, swingers clubs that advertise themselves as house parties...
What else?
I'd be grateful if members share their bad experiences or knowledge on the subject!

we are nice and try to be kind and helpful - when we first set up this profile we were chatting to a youngish fem - she seemed nervous and unsure - so we said all the right things - asked if she wanted to meet we could in a public place etc - said we could have a girlie chat and meet for coffee etc - all to just talk about the lifestyle - god we talked for hours and it became obvious she was talking in circles and we getting nowhere - so we said ok leave it with you and if you want friends you know where we are - couple of days later she put up the table of verifications and she had met loads of people - dunno what she got out of chatting the way she did but we learnt to not waste effort on people anymore - just here for ourselves to have fun - |

Other members stealing pics and putting on other sites, all because refuse to go in to detail about meets with them and blocking them! How I wish IP addresses could be blocked! |

Alien abductions and fornication is fairly commonplace when you fail to vet them well beforehand.
Otherwise I don't think it's much different here than chat, shag or date sites, apart from men having nonexistent wives, as a couples profile.
The key other problem is those people who never intend to meet but just get a weird satisfaction from the pretence, even sending users to addresses that they don't live at. Or get sexual pleasure from talking about what you'll do together. |

If you turn off your modem and switch it off after a few minutes, it gives a new IP address. You'd better keep reporting the stalkers to admin. |

3. Single female profiles with the famous "my husband will be present" line in them.
4. Verifications for single female profiles along the lines of "...met this lady and her husband..." |

This morning I sent a polite "no thanks" message to a single male, pointing out that I had said the same two days ago. I blocked him at the same time. So......he goes off sets up new profile (or uses the spare additional one he has for such occasions) and sends a message calling us sick fuckers and wishing me all the bad luck in the world!!!!
And he wonders why we didn't meet. |

We have been swinging many years we try to be nice and always show up were a couple and i will always talk on the phone first to show there is a lady not just a male pretending to be a lady.
But its just with the life we lead there will always be waster,s and wanabe,s like the guys sat on cam wanking every day bless them in many cases there there wife is out so out comes the todger and time to go on cam for a tug.

Profiles constantly changing their sexuality !
We get numerous messages from both singles and cpls claiming to be bi (profiles are shown as bi), yet within a day or two the profile sexuality reverts back to straight ! |

That might explain why there are "couples" profiles with straight males and straight females looking for bi-blokes.
And another one to add...profiles with "men" in the "looking for" list, but then "not looking for single guys" below it...as in only looking for non-single guys???
And another...guys doubling up on themselves to be a "MM couple" just to get around the single guy blocks.

Professional adult players!
After 2 weeks of messages where all seemed alright, we set a meet up. Just a day before the scheduled meet, I received a message that she had 2 stalkers from this site, so she won't meet and further- that she would block me so that she won't waste my time anymore.
Well, at least, it is good that she admitted to having wasted my time.
On more detailed reading of her verifications, they all seem to be from professional fuckers who organise parties charging money to supply hookers.
I conclude that she was looking for clients, but seeing I wasn't that kind of a man and she won't get her commission, pulled the plug.

I would suggest asking for a recent face pic or webcam chat. Before you meet someone. Let's just say lots of people don't update their pics and age on fab.  |

We regularly get messages from "cpls" wishing to meet. However, when we agree to do so, the next message is that she is no longer available (for a variety of reasons)but he is still willing to meet alone. Suspect it was a single guy from the onset who has set up a cpls profile. We always decline them. |

Those who ask for pics always arouse our suspicions, particularly if they have hardly any veris. We now say that there has to be an early f to f phone or cam chat. The keyboard wankers give up at that point |

I (Mr) have been around this scene for years and think I've pretty much seen it all.
I've come across pretty much all of the above, but the one that sticks in my mind was years ago when I was swinging with an ex in the UK. We used to use the old AOL UK couples room (anyone remember that?)
We had chatted on line, exchanged pics, then finally arranged a meet, and yes they turned up.
After a minute or two we mentioned something to do with swinging and his Mrs exploded. "Not this fucking shit again" (or words to that effect) followed by an expletive ridden rant at him then she stormed off.
In the last six years that myself and current partner have been swinging I can count on less than two hands the number of private meets we have done and only one has gone well.
So now we stick to clubs and parties, if someone wants to meet us they are welcome to turn up. If they are a no show or a nightmare we can still have a good night in the club.
Oh and a year or two ago I did a reverse search on our pics. I found one of the Mrs on a French dating site |

Okay, here goes my experiences....
"Men pretending to be women" -
Usually quite easy to spot because men like to ask questions about what colour pants you're wearing and generally want to talk very dirty very quickly.
"Members that look different in person"
Get real and get with it. Photographs lie. Nobody looks like their photo. Everyone apologises for their "crappy not like me really" photo. Photographs are just a guide.
"time wasters"
It's a free website, so of course, groups of blokes with nothing better to do in their lunch break are able to create fake profiles, especially if they think a "mate" might be on the website.
"professional pimps and hookers"
Not seen many of these on here, they're not particularly welcome, I've NEVER been asked for cash for a meet.

Well, not quite sure what else they should advertise as. Often converted pubs, serving alcohol or allowing alcohol. Often serving nibbles, buffets. Often having Discos. Often having themed nights. Sounds like a party to me.
There are only two times on which I've had a bad sexual experience. One was when I was young, foolish, shy and daft enough to pay for sex. The hookers accomplish robbed me at knife point.
The other was more of a close shave. My partner caught a dose of clap, but fortunately, it wasn't passed on to me as our relationship was going through its closing stages and we definitely were NOT bonking each other.

Yup. We had a new profile (a couple) message us and ask for an up-to-date pic of the two of us.
We were happy to oblige but sent it with us holding up a piece of paper with our screen name on it.

I can't agree with the above.
Photographs do not lie if those are your photos and were taken fairly recently. It does not mean every 6 months, but certainly not once in 6 years or if you change your appearance dramatically by putting/shedding lots of weight, for example. |
