Single guys and socials

We spend a lot of time on the Costa Blanca and have our second home in Torrevieja.

Friends told us about a couple who organise regular swinging events and we attended one of their free socials in a local bar on Friday evening. We met some lovely people and now have meets and parties planned.

There were around 10 couples, 6 single guys and a few single girls. The group was outside on the terrace and people were arriving and leaving throughout the night.

Here's what we don't understand ... We told five single guys from this site about the social. Two couldn't make it which is fair enough. The other three have since told us that they arrived at the venue but failed to approach the group. We can't understand why they would waste such a great opportunity for networking and making contacts. They are all still wanting to meet us but we are understandably concentrating on guys we have already met and made a connection with.

Some single guys complain about how hard it is for them so why don't they take the opportunities presented to them?

It's worth noting that single guys are also welcome at the regular parties that this couple run. They just have to be escorted by a couple or woman and pay 5€ - same price for everyone.
