No. Some folk use their hotlist to mark people they really do not want to meet."
Pointless putting them in your hotlist then if trying to avoid because they will show up in your updates  |

Those that use hotlist for the dislikes are done to keep them in an easily retrievable location, therefore not checking the updates,
Or maybe they are in a love to hate can't look away scenario, lol
