Is it me or do people think it's stupid when you see an event posting but when you click on their profile so you can message them you find it hidden.

Surely they are hindering their chances of getting replies to the event.

What's other people's thoughts?

Maybe the event is full and it's a way.of limiting further, additional mail.

I can agree with that but when an event has just been placed less than 15 mins ago something is not right.

Is the event a private meet?It might be a way of letting regular friends know without the bother of messaging them individually but it does seem odd.

I have no idea. Seems pointless to us.

I've seen similar when someone has posted a meet, inviting single men for a gb for example, even saying Get in touch.... But they are blocking all single men!

When I hear of that I often think if it's a couple one of them loves the idea, the other hates the idea and deploys the block button by stealth.

OP, just message them and ask, then you'll know why they do it

Well can't speak for others but last time I posted a meet I got 121 messages in that 15mins more than enough interest for a private 1 to 1 meet
