Well I'm definitely not a weirdo or a picture collector on kik.. Infact I insist they don't send any pics on there other than a face pic if they aren't prepared to show one here... |

I'm not a weirdo nor am I fake! Don't tar us all with the same brush! Unlike a lot of people I don't see any sense in giving my number to a complete stranger. For me kik is great. A potential meet gets my kik and then once met in person (should I wish to see him again ) he gets my number. My safety comes first. Handing out personal information to someone behind a screen who you've never met ...now I see that a weird!  |

Hear hear - yes there are fakes and photo collectors but aren't there loads of them on fab too?
At least you have half a chance on kik to out the fakes simply by checking it's a camera and not a gallery shot then if it progresses other communications can be considered |

Personally we think Kik is a great tool for the swinger abs complements fab. We wrote a response to a post of the pros. They certainly outweigh the cons. Very similar to fab.
We do send pics on there but we are very selective. We love in particular the fact that a pic shows whether it is from the photo gallery or a live pic. That definitely can separate the fake from the genuine. You can do some crazy things to ensure people are genuine and genuine people will understand. And if they don't, then it's your prerogative what you do.
We did have a ahem single female contact us once, so friendly and so forward. Almost male-esque in their approach. Very desperate for pics and sent a couple of lovely ones of her from her gallery.
Lizzie was friendly, I was more direct and smelt a rat. When I asked for a live pic, they had a huff, took about 15 minutes then sent a pic which look like they took a pic of a photo. When I asked for a pic of them holding up 3 fingers or a piece of paper with them saying hiya or something like that. They went into a bigger huff (which was surprisingly considering it is a process they use on fab).
They huffed and said they will send one later. Obviously caught out.
I did send him, I mean her, a pic for all their effort. I thought if they were going to go through such extremes for a pic, then they deserved one.
Why I really don't know! Some people!
Nevertheless, Kik is a great tool and used correctly and sensibly, an excellent "swinging" application with genuine and fakes. But that's no different to a number of apps and websites used for communication and social media. |

I like to use Kik. It allows me to chat quickly and in real time much easier than inviting, once I've been chatting to somebody for a while. Better than giving my number out before I'm sure 100% on meeting. |

We're genuine kik users and still continue to use it only way to sort the fakes but that freaks most ppl out don't see why if your real did hear from a few crazies but just blocked them so really don't see the problem ?? |

on the other hand just don't get sucked in by names you don't recognise....if you aren't sure just do a quick sweep on here and if that brings no joy, then just block them....
no need to get rattled by it.....just take it for what it is, an anonymous portal by which to chat up fellow swingers.....its not like they have your number or anything is it?  |

I use Kik. I'm clearly real as per my verifications. I don't like giving my number out anymore so its easier to chat than on here. Loads of pic collectors though and a lot of 'couples' where it's blatently just a guy wanking over a naughty conversation. |

Well it's more discreet than having this site out in public, plus the messaging on here isn't the greatest, so I can understand it.
I think the key is to avoid groups of randoms, and to only give out one's details to people one ha already vetted a bit. The kind of thing that couples and ladies do, but men don't (in general). |

I only use it to chat to contacts from here. I make it clear I'm not into swapping pics and it works just fine. Can't help but wonder if those that are having problems are the same as those that moan about Facebook and then add all and sundry as friends and wonder why it's full of weirdos? |

Same here - use it to chat to people I've met on Fab; I'll exchange a few pictures (mainly face) to break the ice. I don't have any problems with 'fakes' but then again I only kik a very small (about 2 to 3) number of people. |

The main reason we don't have and never have or will ever have kik is because if you arrange a meet via and they don't turn up you can't get Fab to block them.
We use Fab for swinging and don't want to use another app, one is enough xx |

Not exactly sure what you mean about fab blocking them. But if you mean that you cannot block them, then this is not true. You can block people in fab, and you can block people in kik. Both tools provide a mechanism to report also.
But if you mean get the actual administrators of fab to block the profiles, I'm not sure whether they are going to do this on your say so and whether it is something that they can govern and control.
Shit happens in both apps. You can't control people but you can control your actions. It's just how you use them. We have way more joy than pain in both of them.
But if one place works for you then great. It's a bit like comparing two pieces of enjoyment and saying I don't need radio, I've got television.
Both of them you can easily use without the other, but both complement each other to your entertainment.
And that's exactly what Fab & Kik is. They do complement each other. |

No they don't. We gave a couple our mobile, arranged to meet, they blew us out, we reported them and nothing happened. From then on we did everything on Fab and the next time it happened they got removed and when they tried to set up another account, that got removed the same day.
Yes this has happened 3 times to us because we didn't realise they verified they're own accounts with Fake accounts, Rookie Mistake I know.
You can't compare TV and Radio as you don't use them at the same time, we just ONE swinging tool xx |

I prefer Kik as its easier to block people although I don't give it out unless I've chatted to someone for long enough I don't like using WhatsApp or skype as I don't like the fact that they can ring you at any time and don't want people knowing my number (WhatsApp) x |

Nothing wrong with kik or whatsapp. Usually gut feeling will out any you think are just picture hunters. I meet through fab first but have no issues nor have I had any issues chatting with people from here on either app. Does make it easier if you just want a quick chat. |

So in fact, your real issue isn't connected to Kik or FAB at all, it's based around the fact that you had arranged to meet someone and they didn't show! Are you suggesting that every no-show should have their profile removed? |

or say if the breaks are not on for a while then just do a sneaky ninja browse on the phone for a few seconds/minutes while one of you're colleagues keeps an eye out for any of the managers/bosses and you're sound as a pound then. |

I don't mind using it, I've been using it to speak to a couple of really nice people on there. It's a good way to keep a convo flowing without needing to give out numbers.
KIK is KIK, WhatsApp is WhatsApp, Messenger is Messenger etc etc
I suppose it just depends on who your talking to... |

I don't think people are moaning or not getting it. They are simply replying to your original post and for the most part sharing their experience or view.
Personally we think it's good and have no problem with doing the block process twice on both fab and kik.
We've had one bad experience on kik where an idiot without permission added us to an extremely large group.
A few threats of reporting this, closed that down.
But nevertheless it's a very good tool for swinging and people we've actually met from fab, we create four way conversations so we can keep in touch. And it offers a different way of communicating to fab (more dynamic and flowing).
However Fab is still the core and starting place for our meets. |

Kik is perfect for sussing out people its more convenient that chatting on site it offers the same benifits anonymity as being on site.
I bet you get stood up just as often from on site contacts as you do kik contacts that's just one of the pitfalls of looking for sex people talk a good talk but change their minds when faced with the real thing .
In a perfect world with perfect people this wouldn't happen but sadly we live in a imperfect world full of imperfect people . |

True, however if you want to meet us we do every on Fab and people aren't getting it and moaning xx
I don't think people are moaning or not getting it. They are simply replying to your original post and for the most part sharing their experience or view.
Personally we think it's good and have no problem with doing the block process twice on both fab and kik.
We've had one bad experience on kik where an idiot without permission added us to an extremely large group.
A few threats of reporting this, closed that down.
But nevertheless it's a very good tool for swinging and people we've actually met from fab, we create four way conversations so we can keep in touch. And it offers a different way of communicating to fab (more dynamic and flowing).
However Fab is still the core and starting place for our meets.
Not moaning on here but to us when we ask for a pic and they say only on kik"
You just need to tell them you keep all your communication on here,if they don't like it it's their problem. |

We do and they block us, that's the problem. We're obviously a genuine couple and we're constantly blocked because of kik xx |

I suppose at the end of the day it depends what you want .
We have never used kik or any other phone app . It's perfect for people who like to chat and don't want pics on fab I guess , but we only swing using fab .
As soon as someone says they only exchange pics on kik we just stop chatting . End of ....
There really isn't any need to use anything other than fab for arranging and chatting .

When I mentioned another site on Fab I got told off, why is kik allowed when it's taking away from Fab Chat?

So you wont use kik because you've tried to arrange meets on there before and had a no show? Which is obviously down to the individuals involved. In essence you wont use Kik because Kik don't punish/chastise users who 'no show'.
Yet further in thread you say that you've never used Kik and will never.
I'd never chat to anyone without public photos on fab and in fact have filters set at no messaging without public photos available.
Obviously there are always going to be people who refuse to upload face photos to fab but that's fine just don't respond to messages if someone isn't willing to show their face.
As multiple other posters have said I use Kik to no problems too. I tend to chat for a fairly extended amount of time and only meet those I'm really interested in.
Kik is an app not a website. If Fab were to ban kik being mentioned they'd also have to ban phone numbers being exchanged as well as email addresses. Fab is the facilator for meets yes but personally id never meet anyone who I'd only communicated with via Fab. |

Well is that really a problem?
If you don't want to use Kik period that's your prerogative and this original post suggested you were pissed and asking opinions.
How would we handle your situation?
Well we would use Kik and if people want to send their pics on kik for you to view, that shouldn't be an issue.
Some people do not want to have them on fab and so it gives you a tool to progress.
However, if they ask you for pics on kik, and you don't want to, like we do, simply refer them back to fab and send your pics to them on there.
If they insist that they want you to send on kik, either ask them why and/or tell them to do one, as there may be an alternate motive.
But it's simple, let people choose how they swap pics; fab, kik or both. Entirely up to the individual.
We use it primarily for communication.
If you don't want to use kik, then this is up to you. But I really think you should understand your real reasons to why you object, let people provide some knowledge and education and then make a decision.
However at this stage, I cannot see a valid reason.
This isn't slating you by the way. This is simply responding to your original post and trying to help you enjoy your swinging experience.
You seem to have a lot of let downs. We really don't have this problem so perhaps it might be something you are not doing right, as we have great user experiences with both the fab website and the kik app. x

Kik isn't the problem its the Muppets who join fab ruin it for others and there is a lot on fab always happy to hear from the real swingers lol we'll continue to use kik or whatsapp as its great for a bit of fun with the right ppl ?? had a few chats then meets but hey that's the game xx |
