I've been surprised by how many people on here are within 5 miles of where I live but I feel uncomfortable about meeting up with people who might be neighbours, have children at the same school as mine or serve me in Morrison's. What does everyone else do? D |

Yeah I get loads of messages from guys within a mile or two of me but I just don't feel comfortable meeting that close
I've been talking to one guy for about a year who's within a mile of me, he's still trying to convince me |

I wouldn't meet anyone local and never have done for exactly that reason, although I have spotted a couple of people I know and quickly gone on stealth and blocked them before they found me |

Doesn't worry us at all. We have played with a couple on here who live on the same road, albeit about a mile away! They are on here for the same reason as us and if we happen to meet in the street? We chat like anyone else would.
Really don't see all the caution, but each to their own. |

I certainly avoid local! I live in a relatively small town and have little interest in bumping in to somebody id rather not.
It's a shame because there is one particularly hot chick very nearby but, I declined further contact due to the locality! |

We are all here for the same things, fab life and private life should be kept apart.
I have a friend on here that was a little surprised to see me in a club, although seeing her again has brought back the friendship, and we can also have a laugh about it when we are by ourselves.
It's not all about going public and announcing we are swingers.

That seems crazy if you really like the look of her |

It does, but my mates sister has the same name, possibly the same age! so do I take a risk or not?
Hence the reason for declining, local is potentially uncomfortable! |

I've put East Lancashire as my location, this could be 5 or 6 towns.
If I'm messaged by anyone in my actual home town then I do block.
Perhaps rude but my choice. |

Ive only met a few times, mainly on fab guys but the most local meet I've had is from about 200 yards away! We'd chatted on and off for months, met just the once and now we'll have a pint in the local pub on a Sunday afternoon occasionally. |

Thank you for your replies everyone. I think for now, we'll keep any meets outside our town but where do you draw the line? I work in another town and R works somewhere else. Then there are people who could be friends of our parents or other family members lol. Ok, I think I'm beginning to over think this. |

I only meet local people. I like the fact that when the house is empty I can give them a call to "meet now".
I've bumped into playmates in Sainsbury's, sat beside them on a train and we've barely acknowledged each other as the men I meet are discrete adults.
Never had a problem.

I had a regular meet in the town in which I live for four years, didn't cause any problems because we weren't hiding from anyone.
My wife and I once had a threesome with a guy one street down from us. Sadly there was no chemistry and while we didn't want to repeat the experience he did. We were concerned at the closeness but that said he never bugged us and only turned up once on our doorstep. ....with a Christmas card |
