Not sure quite how representative these threads are? Maybe it's comparing apples and oranges? Single people meeting up and having sex, well them kissing at the same time seems fairly straightforward.

Where couples are in long term relationships and swing together, well that seems a more even split. For us kissing is more intimate than anything else. It's also what we often do outside of sex as a loving and tender thing between just us. So maybe that cross over through all aspects of our life is why kissing is our line in the sand?

As for questioning the representation of this thread and others like it, well we've played and seen others playing in clubs on many dozens of occasions and seldom seen kissing between males and females who aren't partners. Of all the times there's wasn't kissing no one seemed terribly unfulfilled. So, a favour from some of you might be to try to use language less like you think that anyone who doesn't like what you like is somehow missing the point. Belittling the preferences of others is generally frowned on around here it seems but kissing is deemed fair game.

Perhaps I didn't make my pint well. I'm not disputing the balance on this thread. I'm suggesting the balance on this thread does not represent the swinging community. How can I suggest that? Well as I said previously we have lots of experience to suggest otherwise.

Why would all those people who feel as we do not speak up? Well maybe they just don't use the forum. Or, just maybe, the aggressive and judgmental nature of these threads would put many off from taking the opposing view. Again I have to agree. I almost always post on kissing threads to say that we don't but it seems to me that it is so firmly entrenched in swinging lore that people must kiss that people feel able to imply all sorts of quite insulting things about us. All these guys saying they would struggle not to kiss... I have found that most men are quite happy to get straight to it. I would only kiss briefly and certainly not during sex unless it would cause obvious problems to turn away. But even then I will move .
