Hotel cost

My fb and I play regularly and have enjoyed many meets. We only meet in hotels the first few times until we get to know the folk. However I wonder if asking anyone to split the cost means that you would feel obliged to strip off and have fun when you are in the room..even when you don't after all want to or feel there is simply not enough chemistry? A friend believes that asking anyone to hand over money towards hotels obliges you to perform as the expectations of sex are increased if anyone pays money towards a room. As we both don't have much money the full cost is a lot for us so splitting seems fair. Any thoughts?

This is why social meets first are a good idea. Then of course there are people who agree to split costs and never cough up, but that's a different story...

Have socials first in advance - simples then you can go on and book a hotel there after.

. Why not just meet for a drink first and then if you all want to take things further you can go to a local hotel.

I think it's only fair to share the cost.

It's a mutual meet after all.

There will be times when the spark is just not there or whatever, even if it is someone you already know.

We would never feel obliged and hope our meets wouldn't either.

And you might feel different the next morning

It would be one way of getting hotel rooms at half price. I think any meets you decided not to play with would look at it the same way.

If you're meeting a single female or male you should pay.

If you're meeting a couple you guys should split the cost.

Meeting a single female I'd cover the cost first time round; however if it became a regular thing, it would be nice to split the cost

I was thinking the same thing. Better to have a drink first and decide you want something to happen before any pays anything.

I have no problem paying hotel costs.. Specialy if your meet is travelling to you. But if they wana share costs, great..And if not take a tent. Put them anywhere.
