Nothing strange about it, harsh maybe, but lots of people insist on msn or seeing someone on cam before taking things further, perhaps you could add it to your profile you don’t use msn, may help with any confusion. |

Some people, I suppose, just want to play on cam...and that's fine.I was sent a message...very nice one...second message I was asked for msn and was blocked immediately after I said I didn't have it.
It just makes it easier for them to keep track really. |

I personally don't understand why you wouldn't use msn. I find its good way of chatting before meeting, without giving your phone number out, enables you to easily share pictures of yourself and also show yourself on cam. Im very reluctant to meet people who wont go on cam just to say hello and if you said you didn't use msn i would be very suspicious. |

I never give out my MSN address or mobile number to anyone until I have chatted with them for a while on here...and even once I have I never use it for the web cam.
If people don't like it...tough!! Lots of others on here to chat to

we find msn a good way to chat find out more cheaper than the phone and builds up a relationship ..and if both parties wish to cam thats a bonus ..but not essential..you are able to send more pics and also depart more info on proposed meet give directions etc..a very useful tool is msn in our opinion |

We used to use msn but got fed up of people asking for pics, asking to go on cam all the time.
We used to spend hrs on msn trying to arrange meets,in the end we decided to stop using it.
We have plenty of pics on here and have a swing phone that we give out,we arrange meets on here, chat on the phone and meet, much quicker then endless chat on msn. |

I have a seperate no as well, however, since my pc is about as old as the hills, msn and cams don't work very well. If chaps can't accept me from a phone call..... whoops |

Used to msn to cam a few years ago but to be honest the fact that peeps can film you from their phone video camera put me off... I was warned by a friend about an incident they had with someone with that very issue so don't do it anymore... |

I find Msn useful at times ..i only usually chat to ppl on here who are verified..but occasionaly someone catches my eye and they aren't yet verified..chatting on cam shows they are the people in the pictures ..tho to be honest, its so easy to use Pic verification, i dont understand ppl who dont use it!!! |

I wont use MSN now. Got fed up with adding names. When it came to chat when they were online, they either cant remember who you are, talking to someone else, or just ignoring. I had over 100 names. Only have a handfull now for people who chat.
Prefer to chat on phone. |

Ever thought about just giving it to those you actually want to meet??
We like MSN. Gives us a chance to chat to someone just enough to give us an idea of what they are like before we commit to giving them our phone number. Plus you can swap a couple of pics and use cam to out fakes. We do like the idea of having a phone just for this though, so are going to dig out that old handset that's gathering dust and get a new sim card.. sorry Mazuma Mobile, you won't be getting it just yet..
There is a point though, where is you've chatted to someone for a while and got to know them (even confirmed that their genuine by cam or phone call) that conversation can fizzle out quite quickly unless you actually meet them. Quite a few times we've been chatting to people that seemed very promising on the surface, got to know them quite well, then.. nothing. Be it MSN, phone or cam, sometimes there is TOO much information before you meet. Anyone else find this? |

be careful hotnhorny then if you go on cam in the chat rooms
i have a mac and im sure this applies to some windows ops too - i can film anything i want that is showing on cam anywhere on any social site
my hubby has been away a lot recently so sometimes if i have chatted to a cpl on cam i have videoed it and shown it to him later that night on skype
all with everyones permission i might add
just thought id point this out as basically any cam filming can be captured and its not just down to msn xxx |

problem with giving out mobile numbers for verification is the fact some people think they can hassle you via there instead a msn or here. We have also found that the male of some couples think they can meet you on their own which is cheeky! So now we chat via msn so we dont have to exchange numbers straight away. We wil only swap numbers for dead certain meets and its rarely ever my number its always lees so i dont get hasstld how ever i do most of the chatting on the phone!
I no the spare phone wud be a good idea in a perfect world but we would just simply forget to use it. Eg: charging it and topping it up. Like msn we use it but lucky if its once a week. |

I find msn is a good way to just chat a little with someone, and get an idea of them. You can figure out who if someone is gonna be right for you, or if they are a timewaster.
Unlike giving a complete stranger your number, your just giving them an msn account, I have one just for swinging. If someone comes across as being fake, or rude, then I simply block and delete them.
I think using msn or the chatrooms on here, to talk face to face to someone on cam is a great way to get to know someone, and strike up a good relationship from the begining.
But different things for different people ya know. |

"I had the same...doesn't really make them 'strange' though does it?
I agree, perhaps they just wanted to get to know you better?
"
Then perhaps pick up the phone? |
