How many women out there enjoy being called filthy/dirty names when they are getting fucked and do guys enjoy this too? Some guys don't..and feel uncomfortable using the word slut etc.

Despite scening in bdsm and like what others would consider a little obscure, this is not at all acceptable for me, not even from R.
Luckily this isn't something he would want to do anyway so it suits us.
If we included another Dom (me) then I know R would give them a heads up before hand on this and if it was a swing meet rather than a bdsm scene I think like others have said, there would be some choice words returned.

Really not comfortable with a mindset that allows names like that. There is a whole vocabulary out there you can use.

I've been doing pretty hardcore BDSM for about 15 years now.
I don't like being called a slut unless it's a very specific part of a scene. I don't see why words that are traditionally misogynistic should be part of my scenes.
Am I vanilla just because I don't like being called a slut? Or do I just have tastes? |

Great reply. What people need to remember and be respectful of is even in the realms of BDSM people tastes differ. Just because you're submissive doesn't mean you're one kind of submissive. I adore being called those words IN THE RIGHT CONTEXT AND SETTING, that doesn't make me any more submissive than the sub next to me being called by her own name.

I think this is it, tbh. My girlfriend has called me those things before and it was fine, not really my thing but fine. When I let a man do it recently it made me feel unpleasant, even though he was a perfect gent. It made me want to slap him and leave, despite having discussed and conservation to it first!

I don't know how I feel about calling a sexual partner a slut/whore. My instant reaction was to say it's something I would never do, but, having never tried it, I feel it unfair to say without even giving it a second thought. But, like some of the posts say, it would have to be with someone I know very well, and there would have to be a lot of prior communication about it |

The thing about these 'misogynistic' words is that if they are used with misogynistic intent, then they are unacceptable.
On the other hand, if they are used in the bedroom (or elsewhere!) between sex partners who enjoy using them to enhance their sexual activity, then they are not misogynistic, they are just sexy.
It's really down to the individuals concerned to decide where the line falls for them personally. |
