Recently I've been chatting to a woman on here, she said she wasn't keen on being with a guy with tattoos...
Apparently she doesn't mind a few tattoos but not too much... What is it? |

Personal taste? Her preferences. Wouldn't let it bother you. Some people think tattoos are hot. Some don't. |

I love tattoo,s if they suit the persons personality, they can be very sexy...
I dont like them if they are about look at me im a hard man...
You can tell if the ink is about the person or just the mentality behind them |

"because they look fuckin awful?
Hahaha fool"
It's not being a fool it's personal choice
if people turn me down on here for them that's fine, I do object to comments in real life though when I haven't asked their opinion |

Nope just another"
So you're expecting different replies to this thread than the last one? Some people like tattoos, some people don't, but you've already heard that! |

I have found generally that people with loads of tattoos are generally not my type of people. .not that they are bad or weird or anything negative just that they generally have a different outlook on life than me...so loads of tattoos put me off (on men and women)
Am aware this is a huge sweeping statement but on fab you have to go on gut reaction a lot. |

I can see where she is coming from. I personally don't mind a few, and they can even be hot, but I'm not a fan of tons of them either. I like looking at a man's skin, his body. Sometimes loads of tattoos can distract from that a bit.
But in the end it is just her preference, surely?

"I'm actually surprised there's anyone left that doesn't like tattoos as they seem to have become such a fashion item these days "
I don't have any tattoos at all and I do ok. Tattoos seem to be so common these days (fashion item) it seems more alternative not to have any?
Personally I don't mind tattoos on people either way it's not a deal breaker when it comes to meeting someone for me. |

Nah to be fair he either made a sweeping statement that all tattoos in general are fucking awful in which case the op had the right to reply with his opinion, or he was questioning if the ops tattoos were fucking awful and same applies. |

I'm investing in laser removal technologies because in 10 years time there are going to be a lot of regretted tattoos ! It's already started now, once the cover up of the cover up of the cover up has turned the artwork into a blob.. What next ? Think about it if a fascist regime came to power and you wanted to become a revolutionary, that damn tatoo makes it easier for you to be identified. I think when the government failed to get I.d cards through they hired david beckham to trick people into barcoding themselves with cliches. |

"Funny thing is people that have tattoos don't care if you don't have one. But people that don't have seem to be soooo bothered about those that do have..."
Is that not because those that don't could be largely generalised as not big fans of them? I know that definition works for me |

On fab I don't mind one bit if someone is put off by my tattoos, it's down to their personal preference like many have already stated here. For that reason I'm absolutely ok with someone's personal choices to meet someone.
I did get offended recently when I was with my 4yo daughter at the swimming pool, heard a woman tell her sons to get away from the tattooed man as I looked dangerous!
I hardly think I did, was carrying a bright pink flotation board and my daughter had put two pink glittery hair clips in my hair! |

Your choice to have tattoos...
Her choice to not meet you because of them..
I've chosen not to have any tattoos, tattoos wouldn't personally stop me from meeting someone.
everyone has choices.. simples.

Personally I don't trust anyone who hasn't got tattoos! "
Really??
police, paramedic, firemen, doctor you would turn away their help in an emergency situation because they have chosen not to have tattoos,

I didn't say I'd turn them away did I? Besides, we are talking about swinging, not emergency services.... Honestly, some people... |

The answer was obvious , you knew that .
Perhaps you were looking for 100% support - but when does that ever happen on here ?

Live for now and all that and if you like them, great!
I do know a few 'older' people that had tattoos years ago and now regret them. The thing with tattoos is that they're so permanent - I wonder if in ten or twenty years there will be a generation of people covered in tattoos that will start to regret them as the skin starts to age and they're no longer firm and smooth bodied like they were when younger?
Who knows, maybe that won't happen. It will be interesting to see all these pensioners in 2050 with their purple rinses and full body tattoos everywhere
Anyway, live with no regrets and live for now! If you like tats, have them but only have them if you're 100% sure! |

I genuinely don't care about tattoos either. They don't define someone. It's not a factor for me but then very few things bother me on that score. Your body, your choice. I would no more judge someone on their ink or lack of than the amount of pubes they have. |

Don't have any (yet) myself. I mostly have no opinion either way. But I do wonder in a non swinging way about those who have loads but there's no thought gone into them, they're just generic what everyone else has ones. Just shows a lack of personality/originality/imagination which seems to be the opposite of what they're trying to portray.
But in a swinging sense definitely personal preference. Each to their own. |

It might have been said slightly in jest... Mind you, I did used to say I didn't trust men with beards as they are obviously hiding something and now look at me.
I can't say I give it any thought on what people make of my tattoos, they are entirely my choice. I have noticed that people judge me more now I've got a full sleeve. Surprisingly it's not "toffs" or oap's who seem to judge but 40/50 something's who are some what middle class but they are welcome to. I have my own _iews on them anyway lol!
And people who tell me "you'll regret that when your older" obviously haven't thought that statement through and don't know me at all. Yes, I've met people who have regretted having tattoos but they tend to be the people with one or two smaller tattoos. I suspect that people like me who are very much into tattoos will still be getting them when we're older! |

How do you know how much thought went into their tattoo's? |
