Thanks for re-posting that bit as I think it was to me. Yes, I am one of the pc brigade who is responsible for destroying the country. Two things, I think I may have been here first and secondly... on a daily basis I am dealing with the consequences of such nonsense which segregates certain groups of society. Where are we with it ... fractured. |

I live on the Welsh border and know a few words of Welsh. I occasionally join in with an invasion of the Canada chatroom and would be happy attempting to chat in French. My username is Greek by way of an American writer and I see a lot of Latin and living languages bandied about on the forum. The English language purloins words left, right and centre anyway. I am too old for textspeak and find it hard to understand and see a lot of that if I ever venture into chat. My point is that the method of communication doesn't really matter as long as communication is happening. |

English is the greatest language in the world and no other language should be permitted in this great nation.
That's what my ancestors told the Celts.
And the Picts.
And the Romans.
And the Saxons.
And the Vikings.
And the Normans.
As for the Scots, the Welsh, the Irish and the Cornish - how dare they speak foreign!
Anyone who does not agree is obviously a troublemaking foreigner. They should f*** off back to where their ancestors came from!
Er, just a minute. My genealogical research shows I have ancestors from Italy, Scotland, Ireland, Cornwall, Normandy, Germany and Scandinavia. Where should I f*** off to? |

If you have voted Tory, Labour or Liberal in the past 20 years, don't complain about mass immigration. Each party is devoted to unlimited amounts of immigration and you have been actively complicit. Shut up and put up. Or just look smug if your genuinely in favour of these policies. Even better, in 20 years people might perhaps be complaining about you speaking in English on here. |
