ive noticed when some people post a different out the box posting and especially a bareback forum. they seem to get slated with various replies from a broad range of same old same old comments.. is this acceptable?? or do you think forum should be comical, constructive comments, what are your thoughts?? |

tbh ive not met anyone from the forum, so if they did block or ignore me, it would make no difference,
also i pointed out in thread maybe not clear enough .. for example what might be boring, tedious, oh not another one, will no doubt be refreshing and new to a person just starting to use the forums |

There is a search function....like most websites on the internet...
But lately I have noticed a lot of bareback threads. So, recently, when another was posted, I rolled my eyes. Why? Because if someone who promotes condoms says anything against bareback, they are getting on their "high horse" and when anyone who promotes bareback says such, they get the spiel on STDs.
Its the same old same old, and everyone is discouraged from giving their honest opinions for fear of being contentious. So I roll my eyes...

Certain groups of people dislike certain types of posts. I have been Shushed, called a pedant and various other things for trying to discuss the whole BBC term thing ... but, with some persistence, a good debate ensued ... even got through the star signs which I enjoyed and get my weekly forecast now ... I think its a good way to pass the time, learn and discuss things. Not sure if everyone thinks about what or how they post ... or even want a debate. I want to connect with like minded people. So when I debate the use of a term and try to justify the use of it, I do get told to shush by those using the forum to snag a meet. I don't want to meet anyone who can't have a chat, banter and a laugh. I live those threads, but they can be repetitive. |

People should be free to write exactly what and how they want (within the limits set by admkn) - that is the whole point of a forum. God forbid that anyone should start dictating how we should respond, be it about bareback or anything else! |

Excellent post, life is all about learning; I've done a post slating recruitment agencies, have had loads of responses, some that might seem negative but have learnt to turn them into a positive plus how to deal with agencies too so its all good |

We put people that do bareback in the same category as drink drivers. 8 out of 10 would make it home but 1 might crash and the other might kill someone.

I (mr) used to be on a fetish site many years back, there are so many kinks out there that do nothing for me but obviously do for others, likewise I'm sure there are things I/we would get up to that others wouldn't. Reading this back , I think it may have been not the best way to put our stance !
When I said we take our own measures , I didn't go into any detail on what we actually do on a meet , although I have on many occasions in past posts . So here goes .
For penetrative sex , condom only .
Always mouthwash after oral ( corsodyl )
Stay clean , pee after sex .
Be aware of anything odd regarding a meet - unusual sores , warts , smells . Never go ahead if in doubt , no matter how horny you feel .
Common sense .
Plus as I said the hep jabs , keeping them topped up and regular visits to the gum clinic .
In a nutshell that's us .
It may seem pedantic , but we do play more often than most , and there are still risks no matter how safe you think you play .

I get certed roughly every 3 weeks so my certs stay within the 28 day period, i only have BB with other certed people for work purposes who have also been tested on a regular basis, when swinging its condoms only with uncerted people as the risks are not worth it.
I have been in the adult industry for years but me & Kim have never had a single STD, no one can be safe when it comes to sex but we can try to cut down on the the risks by being tested regular & having your Hep A & B jabs.
Having unprotected oral sex can be dangerous but all of us do this quite freely without worry for some reason, you access the people you meet & take it from there as its not only your life but the life of others you are playing with.
More & more people are getting tested on a semi regular basis which may not be perfect but its better than nothing. |
