Seen a few threads about various opinions on having veris..ive been on and off this site for a while and each time I've left I've obviously let the veris dissapear as they mean very little to me and have never hindered me starting a conversation with people...
For me personally i CRINGE at veris...think about it you are writing a review on what should be a spontaneous amzaing little encounter...and whatsmore most are so awful...from the ironic "keeping this one to myself" to the pointless "treat this one with respect"...in fact veris sometimes put me off people....

Personally, I use use them to check if the person "talking the talk" is genuine, or not.
Sometimes get messages from bare profile/been on for months & no verification of any sort, and if lacking, they're useful to identify a WOT (waste of time, lol).
Reviewing, sure - a bit weird. But it does sometimes help to gage what a person may be like from their veris. Sometimes useful; sometimes telling. |

They verify that you meet, turn up, and are reasonably sane and civilised, not a porn star...it's not about prurient details... |

Verifications aren't supposed to be to 'review' the sex act. They are there to inform others that your profile is genuine and that you do meet.
Agree that some people do go over the top and we are turned off by long winded and detailed accounts of a meet as we think its indiscreet and details should stay private.

I always request to my meets that verifications are not too explicit but simply a medium to express the view that someone is nice,reliable and not a timewaster. I believe they are essential and if a person has been on the site for 9months or more without one makes me wonder why! Therefore I don't meet. |

As I said on another post, I think they should just get rid of them, they seem to cause far too much angst for some. Too many, not enough, hidden, cam only, last one was months ago, the list goes on and some seem to want the veri more than the meet like its some sort of competition to see who can get the most! I just use common sense and gut instinct, seems to work well for me. |

Some people are on here to enjoy the socialising , the chatting and even to make friends .
Others , like us care very little for all that , we just enjoy great sexual encounters .
Veris remind us of the fun we've had , and who with . Other people's veris give an indication of what they're into as well as whether they're genuine .
As with anything there will be those that like them and those that don't . That's cool , we like them , we like ours and we like reading others , no matter how graphic .  |

I think they are necessary too, as they usually reveal if someone is genuine or not, I found out that someone was a cheating scumbag because they didn't have any verifications at all, when I confronted them they admitted it! Seriously what sort of pond life cheats?!? Even better they tried to blame me for not understanding their need to cheat! Cheek of the filthy minging little cheating tramp  |

I am suspicious when I receive a message from a woman or a couple who have been on the site 6+ months without 3 or 4 verifications
Either, they are not into meeting people or it is some sad bloke behind a keyboard pretending to be female or the female half of a couple. I stay well clear of them |

I think they are necessary too, as they usually reveal if someone is genuine or not, I found out that someone was a cheating scumbag because they didn't have any verifications at all, when I confronted them they admitted it! I don't meet people who cheat but I'd never judge them as you never know their situation, its probably never really as simple as just leave the other person. I leave them to it, karma will usually do its thing. |

Only thing is that I have noticed some "forged" veris! I looked at one earlier and saw that a profile had 4 veris from different people. When I followed the veris all 4 were hidden profiles - what are the odds of that??? Not the only one either!! "Buyer beware"!!! Be good folks...xxx  |

I do like reading verifications as it gives me an idea of what the person is like. For me personally if you don't like the look of someone's verifications then don't look at all and move on. |
