Same members Deleting Profile...Rejoin...Delete Profile...Rejoin...

I have noticed quite a few of the same members(seems to be mainly single fems?) who regularly join the site...few days later, delete the profile...couple of days later...rejoin...repeat...think you get my drift!!

Just wondering why you would do that? Surely its more hassle then its what worth keep having to register etc...

When I first joined I deleted my account twice before finally staying.

It's quite overwhelming the amount of messages a new single female gets.

I often delete and rejoin...not really a hassle at all.

"I often delete and rejoin...not really a hassle at all."

Yep. Me too.

For me, it's also a security measure. I don't want years and years of Fab activity lying around on a server somewhere. Too much hacking and leaking going on these days.

The only time this annoys me is when it's somebody I've met and every time they rejoin they mail me asking for a verification, when it's been several times in a few months it gets tedious, other than that do what you like

I get this with a guy I keep blocking. One minute he is a couple then single. He never changes his username which I find abit funny.

a variety of reasons....

"She" is a he.

Dipping their toes in the water.

Overwhelmed by intial response.

People come & go all the time, some come back before they've even gone....

I have done that before too. Joined a while ago, had masses of messages, didn't find anyone I wanted to meet, lost interest then left.

This time I am much more active, both in the forums and messaging, have had some meets, and am enjoying the site much more this time around.

Never see the point of leaving and rejoining just hide the profile.....

Always been a red flag to us when a person serially leaves and rejoins, borne out by a serious issue with a single lady once who serially left and rejoined xx

I totally agree with you on that, and I am seeing the same profiles still constantly joining, leaving, then joining again...dont they get bored of that aswell as creating new email addys all the time....the mind boggles!!!

I've noticed a few profiles boomerang profiles that repeatedly do this. Most of the time they're back within a week, a month tops.

Does make me wonder why they don't just use the hide profile feature.

There is one profile that messages us every time they rejoin for a verification as we'd met at a party. We did it the first couple of times, now we won't.

Brighton - even Hove!

It's more dramatic to leave than hide a profile, where's the fun in that?

True

Hiding means they can't flounce out.

I like how a few people who've posted to this thread are no longer on the site

I've only once deleted my profile and I stayed away for 5 months. I genuinely thought that I was done with it 100% - obviously not lol! But knowing that, I know that I'm here to stay

Ive left and rejoined so many time ive lost count, but for me its try to convince myself being on here is a good thing. Ive tried lots of other different sites but this one i always come back to. Lots of lovely people on here ive only had a few meets but that suits me fine. Also with leaving and rejoining so many time ive also deleted photo so had to do new ones....But found an ace program yesterday called "diskdigger" i was able to scan my hdd and find photo's id deleted as far back as 5 years ago Try it yourself its free and totally safe x

Essex.

We use to get this with a single guy...

He wasn't what we were looking for and lived a lot further than we were willing to travel.

He wouldn't take no for an answer, so we would block him. A month or so later he would contact us under a new name...

This happened about 8 times before he gave up...

There are lot of men doing it too. It's so they can wipe the slate clean and start over, you can recognjise them because quite often they use the same pic's.re-profiling allows them to contact persons who have blocked them too
