A comment made to me because of a forum post left me thinking .... would appreciate some thoughts from the assembled masses ... the gist was

Okay to be bi, but don't force your 'lifestyle choice' on me ... is it a choice? Does being bi come with implications of a certain lifestyle? Is posting about in in the forums 'forcing'? Pepper

No. I don't think it's forcing. As for lifestyle choice; I didn't choose to fancy people of either sex. I just do.

It just made me wonder, what type of lifestyle did they think we have? Nothing extra ordinary on a day to day basis and I think that is the same for most of us here, surely?

I just think some people assume bi people to be more promiscuous and don't like the idea of same sex contact so they feel they have to strongly disapprove. Hey ho their choice/loss *delete as applicable

Thanks Dan, as the comment made really made me think as we are not like that at all ... but perception is everything ... so they say. Back to the decorating, which is all I seem to have been doing for the last three weeks .... and have not been out and about for over a month

Sabrina is only bi in the lifestyle .

Outside of swinging she has no desire to sleep with women , and never did before we began swinging .

So maybe that helps , I dunno

Yes, I have idea that the person who commented thinks we live a certain type of lifestyle .... just wandered what it was ... wish I knew, because I don't feel any different from many vanilla couples we see in the supermarket or out eating with the kids most of the time .... and we are both certainly respectable members of the community we live in. :.. well .... you know what mean. I felt a bit like we should not be allowed to frequent the same universe or something ...

Of the 7 couples I have met 5 had a guy that later turned out to be bi and couldn't tell his missus!

I think there is no 100% bi/straight/ gay but a percentage.. For example I am 80% straight but equally have fun with bi couples limited to orally bi.

Alan Carr perhaps is 110% gay though

As always with these threads it soon turns into a debate on if there are any truly straight guys out there.

I'm clearly not straight and have always been open to the thought that I'd like sexual contact with guys too. I avoided it for fear of many things for most of my life.

I don't understand the straight thinking man because I don't have the same thoughts.

I'm sure there are plenty of guys who genuinely have no interest in other men.

It was more about bi being a lifestyle choice ... is it and/or do other people look at bi people like that?

There are far too many people in this world who just don't seem to believe that bisexuality is actually a thing...

Or that bi men are second class citizens. I did not give it a second thought that Mr was bi when I met him on here as a single .... now I only meet bi men. I know they are not all like him, but he has turned me ...

Brighton - even Hove!

I sort of became bi by accident. I've always been straight until a few weeks before I joined Fab. Hardly a lifestyle choice, and I certainly don't ram it down people's throats sometimes I wish I wasn't bisexual but I am and I have in the past been very vocal on the forums about people being comfortable with whatever sexuality they turn out to be.

Bi and proud, me. In ya face with it? Not at all.

I didn't make a choice to be queer, it's just the way I am. Like people don't make a choice to be straight.

If people have a problem with me being open about finding men and women attractive, then wuite frankly they should jump off a cliff and get in the fucking sea.
