Not entirely sure to be honest. We are to a certain degree.
We are a married couple. We do meet other couples for shared sexual experiences but we never full swap.
We can go months without any swinging at all and probably only have 2-3 play meets a year. It is an occasional bit of fun for us.
What that makes us I know not. Are we swingers ?

I'd say we are swinger's that like extra.
We mainly full swop with other couples but also do sometimes have fun with singles too.
We have lots of very good like minded friends that we socialise with as well as have sex with.
But also I (Mrs) have started to meet alone as an extra kink to our relationship too.

My wife and I go to clubs and we tend to only play with single guys. Although we have swapped with couples, swung, it hasn't happened often.
In this mode I just sleep with guys on my own so I guess I'm just a slut.  |

As far as the broad minded 2015 updated definition then yes I am.
But I hate the term 'swinger' as it still infers the seventies elitist yet narrow minded mentality of wife swapping. So I will not use the term for myself. |

Yes - we are a married couple who play with other people together . We are sexually liberated , and if that's what a swinger is , we are the definition of swingers .
If not meeting people , only being here for the forums , just socialising , or looking for that special person , is what a swinger is , then no we aren't .

I don't class myself as a swinger. But have a swinging relationship and embrace the swinging lifestyle? I guess that's how is answer.
My bf swings and I sometimes watch and sometimes I join in soft play. I also have the option to swing as does he. So it's available as options for us both.
I think it's easier to class myself as a swinger to friends that I can share my private life with rather than explain I'm actually a cuckolded sub fetish girl in a relationship with a swinging bull who spends a lot of time in swinging and fetish clubs.

My own opinion is that 'swinging' is about sexual activity with others. To be a 'swinger' you need at least 3 people - either playing together or 1 non-player who is aware of the play of the other 2. 1 player and 2 aware is just wanking. 2 singletons is nsa sex.
I find it very hard to understand the notion of 'social swingers'. Without the play surely they are just people who like to talk about sex.
Labels don't really matter though - if you enjoy what you do then do it, but don't tell people that's the correct way, or even worse, the only way. |

It's not off topic and a perfectly valid question . I went to my first swinging event almost 8 years ago, I've been meeting people, going to clubs and going to socials ever since until a few months ago. And I eexpect I will be again at some point in the relatively near future. But for now I'm taking a break. And just because I'm not presently swinging I don't think that equates to not being a swinger. But equally if this break turns out to be longer than I anticipate at some point I will say that I used to be a swinger |

We probably wouldn't call ourselves 'swinger's' more 'fantasy seekers'!
We tend to come and go into the lifestyle when our real lives allows us. We don't get frustrated if we don't meet anyone. We have fabulous memories of our 5 years 'playing around'.
After all we are only here to enhance what we already have.
