Its a bit taboo eh? lol. Lots of people absolutely detest it especially women. My question is are there any men or women out there that actually get turned on by the use of it? For the record i use it quite a lot during sex.
Most people like to use the word 'pussy' which is absolutely fine but occasionally is there anything wrong with using the C word in the height of passion? |

Agree on panities being a terrible word lol.
When i say cunt it is not describing her! Its no different to a woman saying cock. I think the C word is dirty and horny as hell.
Then again thats just my opinion! |

"Despise the C word, it's in the same league as those who refer to someone their suppose to respect as FB "
Ooooooooooooh was that for me?!
My friend with benefits refers to me in the same way, not sure what the problem is with that. We're friends. We fuck. Simples! |

when you see the way some women speak its what they deserve to be called.
if they dont like the term then people shouldnt be abusive to others and not expect to be told something back which offends.
in the bedroom some like it.some dont. some will shout it during sex. |

There are, doesn't mean the majority who witness it posted have to like it "
Just out of interest... what is it about it that offends you? I can't say I've spent a lot of time thinking about it. What would you rather people called them?
Sorry... am hijacking. |

not a word i use, but then it's a rare day that you will hear any profanity pass my lips.
however, i do believe that words like this only cause offence because we let it.
where i lived in spain the word conjo was common and often used as a term of affection. |

As the bi male within our relationship, I have a female friend who I visit regularly, should I refer to her as a FB would be an insult to her, however, those who refer to someone as a FB shows nothing but a lack of respect, but hey ho, just my opinion. |

Think this thread has evolved into something more than just cunt talk.
Re fuck buddy term. What would you call them? 'Make lurve buddy'. Thing is...thats what people do on this site. They fuck. So by definition if you are buddies with someone and you fuck them that makes them a fuck buddy. I would say it is more a term of endearment than a lack of respect. |

Just as an aside... it's thought that the word originates from Gropecunt Lane - a street name often used in the Middle Ages to refer to parts of towns and cities where prostitution took place.
Also, did you know that John Travolta says the following line in Saturday Night Fever, "It's a decision a girl's gotta make early in life, if she's gonna be a nice girl or a cunt." Obviously, not in the version that's shown on telly |

That's how you perceive it though... saying I have no respect for my friend is not something you are in a position to do since you know neither of us.
Each to their own and all that.
As I asked before, what would you prefer people used? |

It's a lovely ancient English and Scottish word (see Robert Burns poem "Nine Inch Will Please a Lady" for example. People have been talking about cunts for centuries.
The problem is, nowadays ignorant foul-mouthed men use it as a bad insult. R is very pissed off that any man should use the word for the essence of femininity as an insult - shows what they really think of women she says.
Ladies, you have a CUNT... use the word, and if any man sniggers, tell him he's a LIMP DICK and see how he likes it! |

I've used many a good swear word but thats one I find difficult to use even in the context of a dirty session with a woman.
I really do not know why.
I can use any other phrase to mean the same thing, I just struggle with that word.
But i do use it when someone has vexed me to the point of my blood boiling. |

Lol well men with the number 69 in their username, men who have usernames like Clitlicker, fannylicker, Suckmyknob, those kind of names (I apologise if these are genuine usernames of people on here, I have just made them up though). OK the sentence about them using the word C**t was tongue in cheek but I bet Im not far wrong.
Its just vulgar referring to womens body parts in such a derogatory way. To call someone a C**t is meant as the ultimate negative comment, so why refer to a woman in that way |

My opinion (Kaz), its a foul and nasty word, I don't use it and I don't like to hear it either.
I know Paul has used it on occasions in a swearing way and also because of where he is from (just outside London) it is quite common in everyday speech apparantly!, but I give him a slap when he forgets |

working class londoners do use the word a lot. I am one of them. only tend to aim it at male friends. I knew a woman from Notts years ago. always called me duck. I use it in a vaguely similar way |

"Its a very Crude word and using it just sounds wrong at times... " ..How ironic..in the infamous 1960 'Lady Chatterley's Lover' obscenity trial, the prosecution objected to the liberal use of the C word in the novel. As a result of the trial the book was allowed to be published, C word and all. This landmark decision was to revolutionise British attitudes to sex, which as swingers, we have all benefited from. Used in the right context, I think it's a wonderful word. |

Use it sometimes as a riposte to those who quote the management speak of "there is no I in team".. which the reply is "correct but there is a U in cunt"..
I guess it has two meanings and the both are not connected..
Telling a bloke he is a cock or a twat has nothing to do with the genitalia |

the uses/changes in words/phrases/language, (only engish, as thats all i understand!), is something i find very interesting.
on the the word cunt.....germaine greer once said that to use the word took away it's power to shock/insult, 'n that since as women we all have one we should be alowed to use the word without censure,(or words to that effect, lol!). Hx |

It's rare that I would even use that word in my diction, that said there's plenty that fall into that category on here!
But there's the words:
"Prick/Twat/Asshole/Prima Donna" that equally fit.

not a word we use but as a deragatory term its the ultimate insult as in: what a cunt or he/she's a right cunt...
but how times/attitudes have reversed...years ago the use of the word cunt was near on taboo especially in the media of film/tv...whereas now its heard often... and the words like n***er and p**i readily spoken years ago are the new offensive language |

I dont like that phrase either-it is what one of my friends used as an alternative term to going out on the pull... There used to be 6 of us and all the other friends and I disliked the term, even though, we were all in our early 20s and looking for casual sex back in those days. |

Lady Chatterley's Lover, in a more direct sense. Mellors, the gamekeeper and eponymous lover, tries delicately to explain the definition of the word to Lady Constance Chatterley: If your sister there comes ter me for a bit o' cunt an' tenderness, she knows what she's after.
i think you may need to re read the novel lol |

the English language is such a colorful tool and many of the words we use today and find distasteful have their origins in history and as always the context in which they are used conjures up many images and feelings as to their correct or incorrect use..
Would 'One flew over the cuckoos nest' been any less of a novel/film for its exclusion if you hadn't of known that Jack Nicholson would have been using the word?
on a rare occasion and during the height of passion a partner has asked me to fuck her cunt harder...does that make them a bad person? i think not!
Its not a word I would think of using in every day conversation, but like most words over time they become more common and some what bastardized in their use and meaning..and like most words depending on who's using and to whom and in what meaning depends on the reaction of the individual.

Don't have a problem with it ourselves, as people have said it's an old english word that has been around for hundreds of years ( first found written down in 1230 according to our "extensive" research) and apparently only started getting used as an insult in the 19th century. Though we know that some people don't like it and so would be careful about using it casually.
Some of the alternatives like pussy and fanny are a bit prim propper and prissy ( the worst we heard was "Mary")
Would call anyone a cock or a prick either but as a word for the bit of the body it's OK.
It's not the most taboo of words anyway.
It's not an absolutel crime to use it.
These days if David Cameron was overheard saying "that Miliband is a total cunt" it wouldn't be that big a deal.
But if he was heard saying "that stupid N***** Obama" it would be the end of his career.

Interesting...Its one word I wont use in front of a woman regardless of the situation...
40 years ago it was a very taboo word..now its common and over worked IMO ...
There are many words linked to the female 'business end'...but they often link to a general description of the said person...gorgeous 'babes'...tend to be described as having 'pussies'...while skanky types have a 'minge'
'Cunt' probably sits somewhere in between....Would Jordan have a 'pussy' a 'ming' or a 'cunt'?

The word Cunt is mainly used in a negative way though. You dont ever hear someone saying, shes a nice cunt, it would always be dirty cunt, or other nasty words. So when describing womens genitals, it just doesnt ever seem to come across in a positive way. It always seems aggressive somehow.
And if a woman was talking about her genitals, thats not many that would refer to it as her cunt, and if she did, then for me, it doesnt conjure up a classy lady - sorry I sound like a complete snob |

well i use the c word a lot, mostly when watching football, or driving.
although, once in bed the girl i was with told me to talk dirty to her and as i was inside her whispered in her ear that i wanted to fuck her cunt deep and hard until I felt her tighten around my cock' she pulled her head away and basically gave me into trouble for using the c word. it totally took the edge off things, after that i came quickly and silently, made my excuses and left.lol. |

this so reminds me of the controversy over the title of the Sex Pistols Album...this might test some!
as i said earlier its not a word I would use in general conversation but that applies to so many other words too.
I would have to add that I'm sure other words/profanities have their own time and place for use and from what I read this one 'C' when used in Australia has different connotations...a little like bum bag/fanny pack...thongs...the list is probably endless..although again I would like to reiterate its not one I would use in general conversation...not excluding the stupid C**** who nearly wiped me out with his lack of driving skill this morning! still the lamp post had the last laugh! is it ok to use in this context? discuss.... |

I love the word cunt, I think it's important to both keep old words alive and reclaim their useage for our own purposes.
I hate pussy, it's such a silly, childish word, like boobs. Tits and cunt all the way for me. Quite partial to fanny as a general descriptive word but I think I'd burst out laughing if someone said it to me in a sexual context. |

"The word Cunt is mainly used in a negative way though. You dont ever hear someone saying, shes a nice cunt, it would always be dirty cunt, or other nasty words. "
Take it you've never spent anytime in Scotland?
We have good cunts as in 'he's a good cunt that cunt'. It can be used anywhere guy, man, woman etc would be used!
Funny cunt
Guid cunt
Tidy cunt
Mad cunt

I dont mind the word, it makes me laugh."
our "extensive research" -ie 5 minutes internet -says it's a germanic word and has equivalents in german and scandinavian languages and so is a goode olde englyshe woyrrde not some damn latin descended french import! |

"I love the word Cunt!shall we start a fan club? " Having now read through the thread, it'd be a rather small club! Cunt appears to be such an under rated descriptive! |

I find the use of the C word in the height of passion very horny but there's a unnerving shiver that runs down my spine when it's used in public. slighlty embarassing too! |

"the "Cunt Club" ??or the "cunt lovers club" lol" I'm happy to be titled a Cunt in the Cunt Lovers Club. After all, I behave like one at times, that I`ll readily admit!

"oooo not sure about lacking class...
Mr S confesses...
"one of the horniest things ever said to me was by the lady in a couple who was, no other word for it, POSH.
This woman both looked and sounded like a younger Jane Asher. She said to me in a plummy voice " fuck my arsehole while I lick your wife's cunt" ".
He has had to slip away for a quiet lie down at the memory.
"
Actually, now that you mention it, this is where I don't mind the word cunt being used at all. I do have a bit of a thing for posh women talking dirty... it is a huge turn on for me. I think it's because I grew up in a posh market town in Wiltshire where there were lots of horsey type people (I mean they owned and rode horses, not that they looked like them... although actually some of them did!).
When I was a teenager and my hormones were going through the roof, I very often used to fantasise about fucking a lot of the wives from the horsey crowd, and I would imagine them saying the word cunt in their very posh accent whilst we'd be having dirty sex in the back of their husband's Range Rover or over the bonnet of their Bentley.
Unfortunately, I never got to act out this fantasy, but it's still a big turn on. I'd love to hear Kirstie Allsopp or Fiona Bruce utter it in the throes of passion. |

I admit that when reading the post about the posh lady saying the word cunt, I thought it was strangely erotic too - I can see the appeal in posh ladies saying the word |

Thanks Iconic1, That's a nice comment, made me feel welcome.
Well does anyone remember using the word cunny or cun.
It still sounds dirty but not so harsh.
Cant say i've used the word for years but this brought it all flooding back. We used to see it graffiteed on walls around when we were at school. |
