If you go on the fet site, there are loads of groups with techniques and advice. Also a fair few blogs. Probably best looking on more specialist sites. |

Yes, is very possible, some women induce themselves lactation if they adopt a child and they want to breastfeed the child.

There are many ways, there is official drugs from the Dr, there are a few herbs that can be bought that induce lactation.
The best thing is pumping and naturally sucking.
It will take a lot of time (usually 2-3 months, you need to pump 20 mins 8 times a day and 1 natural suck for at least 10 mins per breast). Best buy a double electric pump.
There will be times you don't think you can do it but believe me it's worth it in the end.
That's how a partner and I did it, but it's seriously time consuming. |

A former partner and I managed to do it. It can be done with lots of nipple stimulation a few times a day by a mixture of massage, a partner suckling and a breast pump. If you have had children then there is a good chance you can get it going. It can be hard work but worth it. If you can get hold of a medicine called 'prolactin' it will help you, good luck. |
