If you got to a meet and the person didnt tell you something about them i.e from another country, deaf, stutter things like this. What would you do? Would it anger you that you wasnt told? Recently happened to me and i left the meet. I have nothing against any of the above btw lol. |

It depends what they hadn't told me. Being from another country, being deaf or stuttering, I don't see why someone would need to declare that upfront?

It would depend what it was. If they told me they were 30 & they were really 60, I'd be pissed off.
If they told me they were called James but were really called John, so what?! |

Huh ?
Seriously ?
If as a single woman you arrive and want a connection , how is that gonna happen then ?
Bearing in mind that we wouldn't mind any of the above as it's just about the fun, we can certainly see why others would find it a terrible scenario .
I mean no flowing conversation , awkwardness , and so on would make it very difficult indeed . Of course they should warn in advance , it's a no brainer . |

I rarely tell people I'm American before a meet. Seems like it would be awkward to just randomly say it unless it came up in conversation somehow. I hope I haven't pissed anyone off...
But if someone stated they were only looking for "white British" on their profile (which I have seen), I simply don't message them as I'm not British.

Not good when that happens - another good reason why we all have to be mega careful when arranging meets - but its hard as we kn0w lots of liars out there |

So I'm a "liar" if I don't tell people I'm American before a meet? What else do I need to tell them? How do I know what constitutes information important enough for someone I'm going to fuck to need to know?

That's fair enough. I can usually tell this from their typing abilities, though. No? Obviously that doesn't extend to stuttering or deafness. |

It probably wouldn't bother me if someone was deaf-I've met partially deaf men before who didn't mention anything. I've met men who stutter or have speech impediments, didn't matter. I've met men without knowing their country of origin, didn't matter. If I spoke to someone and I liked him it wouldn't matter if he turned up in a wheelchair or had a leg missing,as long as he can get himself on the bed I'm fine with it. As long as he resembled his pics closely I wouldn't care. A good ltfb of mine looked embarrassed the first time he went to undress and explained that he had a lot of scars on his stomach. I lifted his top up and kissed his body. The scars were deep and disfigured his stomach but it didn't matter. |

God point made - however I don't think I called you a liar ? but lets be honest here everyone, we have all had bad meets due to misinformation haven't we ?? - those that know me well enough understand where I am coming from after being badly stalked by a liar - but I was not calling you a liar |

No no. I didn't mean you were calling me personally a liar. I just meant it as more of a question. At what point does not saying something about one's self become lying? So I don't have to say I'm American, but I do have to say if I'm from somewhere else, or I'm deaf, what if I'm partially deaf?
So more of a question - not literally asking if you're calling me a liar...

Since I'm a New Yorker its more the "How yous doin'?" Y'all vs. Yous is a very important distinction in the US |
